Suggestion: In the bank a "sort by type" option would be nice. Simply having type be the image icon would be fantastic. That way, we could find all our fish when doing fish things, weapons when doing weapon things, etc.
Bloody well done! I love games like this and creeper, and you hit the nail right on the head! This is basically a cell game combined with the difficulty of computer chess. The player has a MINISCULE advantage over the computer, but after that it's all about skill and prediction. On hard mode, I was forced to slow the game down just so I could micromanage quickly enough, and WOW was that a satisfying game. If I were you, I'd look to follow Creeper World's footsteps and start expanding the concept (only slightly, don't overhaul, just expand) and ultimately aim to put the game on Steam. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Kudos!
Quick bug report: After browsing the shop and starting level 3, my money became (-1), and I was never able to earn money again. This of course made the game unplayable...
Don't think about time, and don't try to stay moving. Instead, try using shorter, quicker motions. Stay in the more open areas, and be wary of the one or two fast moving balls, as these are the ones that'll kill you when they hit something and change directions fast. Beyond that, just shoot for getting 10 balls and you win. Hope that helps!
I gotta hand it to you. This game was well planned, very complex but in no way frustrating, kept all the favorite elements of old school rpg's (both in story and mechanics), and above all had an absolutely amazing story and cast. To be blunt, if you don't use the talents you've shown in making this game, you're an idiot. Congratulations.
Anyone else noticing the near exact replication of games like Evony? This is almost a carbon copy in methods, design, even items and roulette. No originality. A copy of a game but with a few different images pasted in would be considered inappropriate at best, yet this is a featured game???
Just got final badge for Loki. People, this game is delightfully difficult. If you don't like to aim, get missiles, they auto track targets. For multitarget fights use missile swarms, and for stationary targets the lasers are best IMHO. O, and the loki badge is VERY VERY HARD. Thank you for that.
Great game developers, loving it. However, I have yet another bug with the spices...
When I buy the 3x spices for the 15hrs, and refresh the page soon after, I SHOULD have plenty of hours PLUS whatever random bonuses I've earned. HOWEVER, I end up with ZERO spices. Simple but it sounds like, spices aren't getting saved.
Doing great, developers. This post is mostly for other commenters. However, I would love to see some idle minigames (growing plants, pets, choosing quest paths, etc, that keep with idle theme.)
Rank changes, it only updates when that person saves/refreshes, you included (mine goes up and down in 30s to 60s).
Spices - agreed, kinda no reason to buy any more now... As PainfulGaze said, 15hrs is plenty of time to pop back on and click a button 3x.
Nelfie - Your pic is gorgeous... just putting that out there.
MrFluffims... at least don't blatently rip off and add onto other people's comments... kinda obvious since you don't use caps or punctuation as opposed to me...
Currently rank 47, yay!
Recommended updates that keep up with "idle" theme (this game isn't meant to be active people).
1. Stackable spices as mentioned before.
2. Other boost items like spices.
3. Other "idle" minigames, such as plant/pet growth, stock markets, etc.
4. Maybe have other games link into the idle game (complicated but would keep up with the theme of doing something else while running the game).
5. Not an idea, just wanted to say LOVE THE CONCEPT OF THIS GAME. WIN FREAKING WIN BABY! Congratulations.
For those wanting future info...
SPOILERS
SPOILERS
Rank 66, down from 32 (dunno how that happened...).
Lvl 163
Chat Bot 3000
Max gear bought.
2163 quests complete, still no ??? gem.
Etc comments:
I love the new mystery spice concept of more time + more price... adds to the "idle" theme. The only thing I'd add at this point is either more interesting random events or more customizations (never too many of those after all).
Thank you shadowfoxnick, I deeply appreciate those words of encouragement! I mean it, honestly.
