A mark -11 auto-shotty shoots 34x10 that 340 damage a shot with 6.9 shots per sec so 2380 in 1 sec with Dr.Holiday it 34x15= 510, that’s 3570 per sec. And by the time you get all this gear your characters will be high lvl so they should have cool 10 and accuracy 10 so that there is almost no spread. Don’t get me wrong I love bowgun the team I beat HC day 100 for the first time with was main hunter with bowgun militia and ranger with gravs and sheriff with auto-shotty. But when I put hunter in npc mode his damage dropped below sheriff npc because he doesn’t fire as much as I did in hero mode.
@celidion at high lvls auto-shotty puts out way more damage then grav gun cause the fire rate goes up and doesn't miss suicide bombers like a bow can. Not to mention the added effects of cripple and dr holiday. Plus henchmen tend to shoot the shotty more frequently then a bow gun even when both are put on fire at will. Auto-shotty with 1 leech, 1 anti armor, and 4 damage mods will out gun any other gun of the same lvl with any mod combo you want.

I play on HC and i consider AP more valuable then gold since gold easy to get normally i only get 5-6 ap. Once i use 3 for damage buff that doesn't leave me with much. So i rather spend 1 AP on chickens then 2 on robbery. The chickens pay themselves off quick espcially with breeder skill maxed.
I love how people try to come up with excuses to to rationalize why they can't do hardcore mode. The real reason it they just SUCK at this game and life.
@Vench get all the other medal you can first. Then i want rogue as my main since you will need the money. then sheriff ranger and militia. Ranger and militia were grav gun users rogue was laser pistol and sniper pistol and sheriff was auto-shotgun as soon as he, could set to defend no boss.
Game is not too hard even nw on hardcore its sarting to get bit easy there needs to be a super ultra hardcore mode where every day there atleast 1 wave of ravens and suicide bombers rushing your castle a same time.
@Possible are you max out on skill you can only have 15 per character plus the 2 base skills and 1 class skill. for total of 18. If your in hero mode you don't see your 2 base skills but their still there.
@Alucard its not impossibe but itis hard i give you props for that. Chain gun and sniper are the only 2 guns that i can't get to day 40 with HC on. Every other weapon is doable, with shotgun, bowgun. and laser pistol the easiest for me.
