Beautiful artwork, lovely animation and the engine seems to work well.
I just wished I understood what I was supposed to be doing.
Otherwise, it's an idle game that isn't upfront about your earnings.
I would have rated this a 5 but when there are so many rooms, the icons are too small and it hurts my eyes. Fullscreen mode or a larger Cinematic mode would fix this.
How the heck are you supposed to complete the Single Leader badge when you have auto-added allies who have armour and frequent health drops?!?!?
Maybe if you could toggle the bonuses....
I don't see the point of unlocking most of the characters. Spec Ops costs the same but has 8 skill points while T has 7 and Michelle 6.
I'm halfway thru (lvl 16) and it's too hard already. If I could upgrade my bullet strength or something, it might get me a couple more levels.
I also agree with isobare: there needs to be keyboard shortcuts for level progression.
My biggest bugbear is there's no way of telling if clicking on a background object will interact with it or make you move to an area. Maybe a custom cursor would help.
Needs a lot of work. Guess I'll have to try the sequel.
Some problems, but not all: Monk can't attack, Knight needs to press the attack more, screen scrolls to slow between fights, you have to buy all the items in the Common Shop or else you're stuck with low level items...
Try the game again. I made changes.
