Does the battles not run if the window/tab is inactive? The graphics are wonderful but the gameplay is next to nothing and having no idle mode is a dealbreaker.

The problem with this game is that the character is trained in the art of war and I am not. Which is a pity because I like the way the mechanics emulate different battle styles.
