I am dumbfounded by the fact that this has a lower rating than "I Saw Her Standing There". The storytelling, music choice, puzzle challenge, puzzle innovation, and artwork are far superior in this game. It seems the main complaints for this are: some puzzles are too tough and there is too much dialogue. I'd say don't listen to this bullsht advice. There might be some wordiness, but I'm hesitant to even say that because it might affect the voice you brilliantly create for the characters only using text (the stutter, fuking genius, notable mention of the omission of "..." later to show more confidence). The puzzles should be hard in a platformer; I don't understand how you can feel accomplished performing tedious tasks as so many other praised platformer games require you to do. Rant aside keep up the good work 2darray, you really are a boss and I'd personally rank all of your past 7 games in the top 10 games on kong. Keep pushing yourself and keep being creative.
Although trial and error unfortunately usually is the faster way to solving the puzzles, there is a consistent method in the ways they connect after a reaction. Oddly solving that was more fun than solving the actual puzzles. Not going to spoil this methodl =) otherwise whats the fun in a puzzle game?
As expected, well done 2DArray. Storytelling, gameplay, visuals, scaling, and uniqueness, all are spot on. You are my favorite game maker on kong, keep it up!
The best thing is that games with badges usually are at the least decent games, opened up a whole new realm of kong games that I couldn't find hidden behind pages and pages of other good games, 5/5.
HAHAHAHA I guess no one can be critical of this game, anyone who points out flaws gets immediate downvotes. It's ridiculous, this is far from a perfect game and the developer needs both sides (positive posts about what made it good and negative about what made it bad). This is far from a 4/5 game. Not saying the developer isn't good at making games just that this particular one has some flaws which I posted earlier but had gotten down voted.
Very interesting shooter, original in the fact that its the best made game that adds limits that must be found out by the player. Could be a bit harder though.
Shallow, pretentious, unchallenging and unoriginal. There is no substance, progression or attachment to the characters. The gameplay is way too easy and nothing is done with the potential the path to retrieve the items could provide. I'm sorry I usually like flash games similar to this but they provide plot development or bigger more interesting worlds to explore. The song was a good choice and does supplement what the kind of story you were trying to portray, but still overall a 2.5/5.
I thought the game was great for its dialogue and character development 5/5. What kind of bothered me was the disappearance of Ginny, I thought it could of been better handled as it was sort of abrupt for such a major character. For gameplay I thought it would've been cool to enact the training sessions with mare as a kind of switch up to the normal missions. In addition to that if you did make a sequel more variation to gameplay and how the missions are played would improve it. Of course you don't need to make this changes it is your game, just a little feedback from a player. As long as the sequel has a comparable script to this I'll be happy =).
It seems people have been saying you can only guess and check, I haven't had to do so and I've finished all of tutorial, journeyman, and half of expert without doing so. Sounds like a bunch of malarkey.
really it only took me 20:06 for bowl, if you build fast enough you can fill the lowest elevation of the bowl with collectors and get two blasters via relays at the middle line and protect it
