I like the concept, but it's far too confusing for me. The only suggestion I have is to change the layer swap keys. A and Z are awkwardly placed to be used together repeatedly
I had a lot of fun playing through the game. The portal-esque feel was definitely a plus. The only downside to it was the ending (or rather the lack there of). Either way, it was a solid game and can't wait for number 2 ;)
The final upgrades (After you get all achievements) are way to expensive. I'm going onto wave 90 and I still need a total of 3625 presents to get all the upgrades. At this stage in the game I should be making more than 30(ish) presents per level.
Game was far too short and had nothing new other than enemy models and a new background. On top of that, once you enter free play the game is just a cake walk. A boring cake walk. Not only is there zero challenge to it, but your worm gets so massive all you can see is the side of its body.
I liked the other Effing Worms games but this one is just boring...
I love that the puzzles in this make sense. Most point and click games are like "Oh, you take this rock and use it to turn the crank on the merry go round to power the telephone used to enter the code into this keypad you drew out in the dirt."
A game quite well made, though surprisingly short. I smirked and I laughed (it was more of a snort). I played and enjoyed, I stayed for the ride. And now i give you, a five out of five.
