I could easily give this game a 5/5 if it weren't for the pixel perfection jumps, the fact that doors aren't checkpoints (I don't see the point of dying in this game, falling is punishment enough), and of course the frustratingly hard wall climbing.
"Sorry about that! We decided to cut that feature because of lags on slow computers :(..."
By your logic you should make this run on a Pentium II with Win95 and load fast enough on a 56k connection. If it's optional, people with better computers shouldn't be on the downside.
Same here, Ruudiluca. I guess we just get better at games... That or now monitor resolutions are bigger, making the game smaller, thus needing shorter mouse movements ;) (Back in 2008 I used 800x600)
Since my previous comment was downvoted by ignorant people who can't google "Astral Tournament", let me reiterate:
I still prefer Astral Tournament's (a previous game by the same developer) ambiance, lesser number of cards (requiring more stategy) and characters. I think an update to it would be more enjoyable than the Spectromancer games, or at least a valid alternative experience.
Well, obviously we have a robber in the city. He's climbin' in yo windows, he's snatchin' yo money up, tryin' to rob 'em. So y'all need to hide yo kids, hide yo wife, and hide yo husband cause they robbin' everybody out here.
The only real problem with this game is either itself or the lack of microtransactions in the web version.
This kid of game is made so vulnerable people become addicted to it and frustrated by the lack of progress, resorting to microtransactions.
Shame on people who make this kind of game, specially when it's an obvious copy of another one called Subway Surfers.
Rate 1/5 and flag the game if you're against these practices.
Astral Tournament is the first product of this Series of Spectromaner. And It is a great card game.
