You know our firefighters are stupid. They spend millions on trucks with big ladders and all they really need to do is point their hoses downward and jump to reach high places.
6000 feet is easy just use your fuel in portions. I used one quarter of my fuel, waited until I got to 1500 feet, used the next quarter, waited til I got to 3000, etc etc
I've found that in a lot of the levels the objects start away from the center and if you're fast and have good aim you can put a line right down the center before any of the objects intercept

Hint for Desktop TD: Juggling. Make two routes to the exit. As the enemies approach the end, unblock the route they're not on and block the route they are on. They will then have to go all the way back around. Keep doing this and make them go back and forth. This can be done forever!

Round 1: aim 45 degrees, go for full power. Round 2: buy 1 thruster (this gets you more distance and therefore more money) aim 30 degrees from now on, always use thrusters right after takeoff.
Round 3: buy three thrusters
Round 4: buy three thrusters and as many skis as you can
Round 5: buy everything on right, 1 of each on left.
round 6 buy everything and aim the best you can :)
