If your partner is down and you don't want to lose him/her, go to options->save and quit, then continue your game from the main menu and you will have him/her back up. This is a workaround until they fix the 'G' key command which is supposed to help your companion up.
I felt the new equip system unbalanced the game, I got the hard badge on my first try.
I remember I had to play Rebuild 1 like 15 times to get the hard badge there.
I easily beat the final adventure with the stone of immortality, angelic bow + regen 6.
Turns out heal affinity multiplies all form of healing. With 320% my 6 regen per turn became 21 per turn. I also equipped all the "storms" spells instead of the "create" spells, midas touch to turn gold coins into gems and warlord spell to get rage. The final adventure was easy with these combos.
If the game starts to slow down, you better save and reload as soon as you can.
I ignored it and the game crashed (! sign) in my 3rd fight out of 5 :(

Like EmoPandaKun mentioned, Right clicking slows down the game. It also works with the hammer hits not only the stake. Badge was easy with that tactic. Thanks EPK.
This game is very unbalanced, I enjoyed it the first couple of weeks until I saw all the exploits and glitches people can use to cheat in this game. Also, the PvP is a joke. Troops are near useless because a single hero can be so overpowered he can win with pots alone and if the hero is more powerful than you, you can opt to run around the battlefield until the timer expires, YOU CANT catch up to them, even if you own horses too. This game is a joke, dont waste your time or your money on this crap.
Very fun game, I enjoyed it very much. Took me around 3 hours from start to finish.
I chose Chaos Desert and became very powerful, after level 100 or so noone could stop me.
I do think that maybe Chaos Desert might be a tad overpowered.

Badge Tip: Unlock all silver trophies first, that will net you +3 skill points at game start. With that, play a game and use your skill points to max out only one skill to level 6. (You only need to level until level 6) after you are done with the golds, you'll get a +4 skill points to start. Use em to get the platinum achievements and you are done.
