Spend energy on other stuff to reduce the cost of ascending. It takes a bit less than a week to get the cost down to something reasonable, but be patient and keep building hatcheries and expansions to get more mutagen after ascending.
same game of clicker heroes, just the devoleper want more money than clicker heroes... lol people make a good game and they soon try to get money from... good game, or at least a visual better than clicker heroes, but bad and i mean really bad choice for the developer!!!

when you reach a sufficient income like when you reach the nanocristalle mk1, go back and farm elegarite, then increase your pick and your blacksmith, in just few minutes your pick will deal total crazy damage, so you go straight using just yout pick, max the stuff to receive more gem, and go like that, increase pick strenght and use all money to increase blacsmith when i finded this trick i passed from mk3 to mk 62 in ten minutes!
very easy game! to advance fast when you can get 10 worker with ease fire all them, and search for the one that start with 3dmg start! they are the strongest and make the game very easy to advance!
