Pro tip: If you "crossview" this, it becomes fairly easy. Parts that don't line up will look slightly out of focus or just kind of strange. To crossview, cross your eyes until the images line up and your brain will magically focus on the overlaid image!
There should be a way to cancel transmuting jobs in queue. Preferably, it would be one at a time and would cancel the last item in queue (last in, last canceled).
Transmuting amount needs to be scaled by ore type. Lower ores start to pile up and there's no way you can ever use the amount that's auto-mined. You end up with tens or hundreds of thousands of copper, but can only transmute 100 at a time. Either sell an upgrade to transmute more per type or simply scale it so it's 10,000 copper=500 tin, 5,000 tin=250 cobalt, 1000 cobalt=50 adamantium, etc.
Loving the game. But it needs more data! It would be very helpful to see stats for things like total heat outlet rate, total vent rate, total heat generation rate, etc. It would also be good to see the base values plus the bonuses for each value broken down by where they're coming from. This would help in sizing the system to get peak efficiency; right now, it's a lot of guess and check because you can't really tell what the full output/capabilities of the system are.
Penguin pathfinding is too simple. The penguins will only walk in a straight line to their target. If the target stays directly behind an obstacle, there's no way for the penguin to move around. If the target is blown up with a bomb, the penguin will find a new target, but this means you have to save your bombs to fix bad pathfinding logic instead of a strategic tool.
I have been a huge fan of the Bloons TD games, but this is bad. The concept is a lot of fun, but the game becomes an extremely boring grind after about the third level. Don't get me wrong; I like popping bloons just as much as, if not more than, the next guy, but I won't be playing this game any further.
1/5 for uncontrolled capitalism.
The balance of the game is a little off. If one of your teams loses more than once, they will lose every further round because they do not level up as the enemies get harder and cannot win.
Anyone remember Sim Tower? :) Loved that game and loved this game. The one big difference is that this game is missing elevator programming. Moving people around is the biggest challenge in a large tower and you need to be able to program elevators to behave efficiently.
It's a fun game, but there's too much luck involved to make the final boss that hard. There is definitely some strategy, but it's mostly luck. I spent an hour and didn't beat the last boss. Now this game is just frustrating and I don't want to play it anymore. :-/ 4/5
Keyboard controls don't work so I can't play the game. :( The mouse works and I'm on the latest flash version using chrome and have restarted my browser several times. And yes, my keyboard itself works, how else would I type this comment? -- 1/5 because I can't play the game and there's no special instructions about how to get the keyboard to work, so I'm assuming there's a bug somewhere.
Starts out fun, but gets very repetitive and boring after the first couple levels. Suggestions: Units should level up, W and D should move left and right, and 1,2,3... should select the mortar to fire.
Meh. These types of games always frustrate me. There's a good deal of luck involved in guessing the right thing to do. Some of the stuff just isn't logical and you have to wildly guess to get it.
