sorry for the double post, but here is a perfect example, for beating the 5th boss? You get a fire dragon wing in addition to the currency bonuses... An item that is dropped normally by the first boss who you can simply anihilate 100 times in an hour if you REALLY want that wing.
2K? last I checked the rebirth achievment gives '0' crystals according to my achievment list. though It does give you this 'artlogic badge 2'. by the way, it'd be nice to knoww hat it's stats are, ya know, since the achievments don't tell you what items do for you. Speaking of which, the rewards of some achievements are rather redundant, by which i mean if you've been competently saving your money and upgrading things with powerful items, the achievment rewards that you get at various points are inferior to what you already have, and the items they give you no longer serve a purpose cause you've already got better stuff. of course a selling function would fix this, or perhaps a trading post >.> A place where you can stack items you've acquired to trade for certain items with the value of the items rather than the value of gold.
VERY TRUE >=C not that i'm against obscenely high levels, when it doesn't take a month to get there >.> like in disgaea =3 Level 9999 max, maybe even higher. but 'there'? at least your rewarded for getting that high, i mean you get millions of health. the game as perpetual ability to increase difficulty as you grow stronger as well. so it never gets 'too easy' unless you let it.
Hey theres an idea XD how about something that lets us increase the difficulty and gain higher rewards eh? that way those of us who want a challenge, 'get' a challenge, and are properly rewarded for it 'being' a challenge.
It's probably more like grinding XD and actually, I think the current speed is 'okay', I would definately enjoy a faster one as well =3 But what would be greatest? =3 a way to lower the graphics setting so that it won't slow down to like .10-.5 normal speed just because there's a handful of enemies on screen. DX
I'm pretty sure that achievements are not going to add up to 10's of thousands of crystals >.>
Of course i only just 'now' saw the new achievments that give 500 crystals, granted most of these achievements that give any sort of substantial crystals would take weeks if not months to complete.
How about this for perspective, to unlock 'any' of those new dragons? or certain heroes, you would have to beat 3 of those challenge bosses that get you 500 Crystal achievements, by that time? there's no point to buying them DX you've already gone beyond any need for 'new units' if you've gotten strong enough to beat those things, by such a late game point, if you can beat super bosses 'without' them, why bother getting them then?
What I meant was to make them earnable with gold, Hell, I wouldn't even complain if they took a million gold to unlock, as long as they were unlockable both ways.
I see a lot of good suggestions =3 the sell function, cashing in BP, experience and money depending on how hard you had to work at the battle. =3
I still however stand by my old suggestion 'make everything earnable' Seriously. I hope you don't think it's 'not' costing you participation because the best things have to be bought with real money. DX I mean it certainly wouldn't hurt funding much to give things a big price in gold but not 'require' gems only.
I'll be honest here, This seems like just another method of milking money out of gamers, there are 100's of games out there now that either make you 'rent' your weapons, as this one 'does', or make you pay 'real' money in order to permanently have any weapon rather than allowing you to earn that lasting toy, as this one also does.
If it weren't for that issue i may actually like the game.
Shuriken: Level 1, 1 rebounding shuriken, Level 2. 2 rebounding shurikens and 2 smaller shurikens that bounce off the wall then seek out a target. Level 3, 3 rebounders, 3 seekers, and the ability to drop posts as you move, once 6 posts are dropped they connect and a saw travels their length. Level 4, 3 stronger reboudners, 3 stronger seekers, and the saw path gets 2 saws now. Level 5, Further increase in base attack power, but You also gain 2 Big saw blades that will launch at the left and right of where you are aiming and follow your ship as it moves.
Machine Gun: This is also simple, level 1 is obvious, level 2 shoots faster, level 3 shoots faster still but also adds inthe appearance of bubbles at random that can be shot and will expand and explode with enough hits. Level 4 turns your shots in various arrows and balls with different spreads, damage, and ROF, and adds in the appearance of arrow bubbles that don't pop, but send out additional shots in teh direction you hit them. LEvel 5 shoots MUCH faster, period, and adds the appearance of a rarer more powerful arrow bubble with a rotating aura around to signal this.
Homing: Level 1... obvious, 2 simple homing shots, Level 2, 3 homing shots, Level 3 is special though, 4 homing shots, and the addition of green power ups that will drop occasionally when enemies die, collecting it releases 6 powered up homing shots that have piercing effects. Level 4 has 5 Homing shots that do greater damage and have a burst AOE Effect, the Power up does more damage, and can stack now, so that if you collect a second while the first is active, in addition to releasing 6 more shots, 3 super homing shots will be added in that jump from place to place, are much bigger, and do a lot more damage. Level 5, '8' Powerful blast radius homing shots, and the power ups get stronger again, and can stack a third time, the third of which releases a total of 6 homing shots, 3 power homing shots, and a huge mass of green energy that does massive damage. It takes luck to get the third one in time though, hence why it's so powerful. Bombs can activate the power ups.
Well I had quite a bit of fun with this game =3 I thought i might add info for once since i've seen a few people do it before =3 In this case it'd be on the weapons and their upgrades. Of course i won't waste time detailing the basic effect of the weapon XD i mean if you play for evena minute you can find that out.
Lancer: Level 1 is obvious, it has a piercing effect. level 2 Shoots faster and does a little more damage, level 3 shoots a little faster and has a burning/slowing effect on enemies hit. level 4 is a 'beam' of constant damage with the same effects as before with greater damage. Level 5 is an even bigger beam.
Hey, It's a nice game and all, but the advertisement is kind of annoying >.> I mean i'd buy it, but I don't have a smart phone, Isn't there a version that can be played on the computer? DX
I've beaten every single level, but there's still 7 missing creatures >.> is this a 'haven't added them in yet' scenario? or are there other things to be done to unlock them?
Seriously... I don't get how 'this' game can be rated number one on the whole site -_- it blows the mind. how can people find it so amazing to throw a penguin on a paper airplane, regardless of how it's upgraded, 10 times, or a 1000 times. It makes me lose what little faith i had in humanity >.> honestly, there's far better things to do with your time than THIS. Have people become so passivised that such a pitifully repetitive thing seems like endless fun?
What the hell is this? I get made into a fighter of a random element every time. i agree with astrojacker, just another pitiful run for money from fools
wow, have oyu seen the altime highscore for ths igame? it's around 2 billion or so. sombody cheated or glitched their ass off. The only mode of the game that even lasts long enough to score that much would be survival, and you'd either hafta have the patience to play for days and days non stop without dieing, or glitch the game so you can't die and leave it running. >.> and that score is in episode 2 even.
I'm REALLY shocked o.o I'm not tryin to troll or anything, but i seriously can't believe that 'this' is the currently number 1 rated game on kongregate... and the only one with an above 4.5 rating. i am severely shocked and baffled DX
