Here's a list of really good abilities you should try when you're stuck: Height Advance(it's a 50% damage boost we're talking about) Soul Distilation (I find mana a lot more valuable than gold, especially when you get to get right of the enemy fortress asap) Haunted Cave(helps a lot during early game and to finish off enemies) Life Drain (Really good vs high health enemies that are not resistant to it) Head Hunting(helpful damage boost against bosses)
