Personal Onion: I would not do 100% refund on Gems, when selling socketed Gear. 10% is perfectly fine. It will take a big reason to play, in the later stages of the game. Assuming the game keeps growing :)
what Mdgames actually means is: RF is the only thing that feels worth it. Just because ONE ability exceeds, doesn't mean it's overpowered. If you have played other skills (I myself played them all), you will notice that they are just super UNDERpowered. Especially Bow builds. Staff has at least Ice Block for some survival, while Sword just tries to kill before beeing killed (stack HP%, Vitality and Strength for as much Health as possible. So you survive until your next level up.)
@OliveD2 "Enemies will be MUCH MUCH more resistant in the upper floors." Monsters on Floor 1500 have a few billion HP now from what I have seen after the Patch Refresh
Wait. What happened in the past few hours? I refreshed and am now one hitting monsters with 10m dmg, it took 3-5sec before refresh. And my RF looks different.
Also reading the comments I noticed someone asking about "Str = Life?" - this is the case, but not mentioned in the tooltip. Tooltip only says "increases sword and mace damage"
Well, I reset anyway now. But I hope the issue doesn't happen again in the future. RF build is very gear depending and I finally had good gear *cries a river*
Increasing the power of the monsters won't happen anymore indeed! The problem was that at a certain point, 95% of the players could kill all the mobs up to a theoretical 900k level in one go (which was not possible to leave as it was, of course).
I like the new update. A few things I have noticed so far that I want to mention: Skills level up way too fast (2minutes on floor 700+ and my skills just broke the lvl 40 mark). Blood Strike healing feels too strong (maybe it is just my stat modifiers)
Aha, this is normal, you were in an already very advanced floor which explains the sudden evolution of the skills all this will balance out as they take levels!
As for Blood Strike healing, I prefer not to say for the moment that the tests are more advanced and that it is indeed your stats that help it.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback!
