I think that the good ending should actually be called the bad ending and the bad ending should be called the good ending. The bad ending should be called the good ending because he stops, therefor being able to catch his breath and take a break. The good ending should be called the bad ending because he is pulled upward into the sun, therefor being incenerated
sometimes it is better to hit them around the waste instead of the head because it will knock them off and make them go out of bounds, regardless of how much life they still had.
if you are having trouble getting money just go to animal lair mode, destroy all the lairs besides 1, then kill the animals one by one for as long as you want
