If you're lagging, try switching browser and closing tabs. I lagged using FF3 with lots of tabs and plugins, but ran fine in a new IE7 window (even with FF open in the background).
Fairly average game. Hotspots are poorly defined - clicking on a small patch in the floor? Didn't like the way hotspots turned on and off quite unpredictably. The art and animations show potential, voice acting not so much, but I'd focus more on the puzzles- it's only the pixel hunting that gives the game any length I'm afraid.
Thanks for mentioning that the first 10 sprites disappear when the lights go out. I was searching for ages and hugged every wall several times before I gave up first time. What a lame idea. While the story was interesting and involving, the sprites idea felt a bit tacked on. Looking forward to the other parts.
Quite a good game, but I found the 2nd and 3rd bosses trivial, the 4th not much harder but the 1st quite difficult. The repetitive waves after the last boss with no new weapons or enemies were very boring, and looping back to the first level was disappointing. There are severe lag problems around and after the last boss - the round lags as soon as it starts and when I was back at wave 1 it was as laggy as ever - a memory leak?
If you get stuck around level 19, don't give up! The later levels are very easy. Good game overall, smooth control and the 3D is a challenge to get your head around.
The engine and graphics aren't too bad, but the gameplay in Objective Mode is very grindy, especially the survival levels. The music is also drowned out by the sound effects.
Fun for a while, but the quests are VERY repetitive, the whole game is basically the same, apart from the cave missions. I also got stuck at 2000/3000 merchant loyalty with no more quests available. I had to grind the last 1000 which was very boring.
Nice graphics and interface, good gameplay too. A timer and quit button ingame would be nice. 20 waves - that impossible badge is nearly impossible :(
