I just got the world record in this game with a 369. If anyone is interested in seeing it, you can see it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOcGmW4voFw
To get the hard badge: Put all your focus into the game about avoiding the 3 green balls. Try to play the other games too, but always remember how you left that game and where you need to go the next time it pops up. In the end you should only have that game left, and you can play it untill you reach the badge. If you're lucky enough the 3 balls will be right next to eachother and move in the same way, so you only have to focus on the group instead of the individuals, but this shouldn't be needed to reach the badge.
If the game isn't working, then try another internet browser. For me personally the game doesn't work in Firefox or Chrome, but it is working in Explorer.
The game was a bit boring sometimes, but it is just so well made that in the end, the only rating I can give it is 5/5. Every philosophy teacher should use this game in their teaching of morality.
(I live in a country in central Europe, so the botd changes for me around 9 in the morning). I got home 23.30 in the evening, and was very tired, but I still logged in to get the badge of the day. Now at 5.45 in the morning, I'm finally ready to go to bed :)
Reason for Badge Master not working: The most recent Kongregate update broke the JSON badge feed, so any user-created place that automatically refer to badges doesn't work at the moment. The Kongregate developers are aware of this, and are looking into the problem.
Point and click games aren't really my kind of game. I rate most of them 2/5, but sometimes I find one that I actually like, and rate it 3/5. This game is different. It is filled with beautifully hand-drawn pictures. The difficulty is in a way, that even bad players can do everything without using a walkthrough. And then there's the fantastic story, with so many good elements and smaller stories. My only complaint is that the music gets very repetitive, but it's easy to turn it off. I've never rated a point and click game more than 3/5, so it's a huge complinent that this goes all the way to 5/5. Very well done!
I finished the badges and thought "good game, but too short". Then I started to go for all the achievements and realised that the game wasn't too short. The badges were. I had some problems with the achievements for basic mode untill I realised to hit the dirt piles. The 10 seconds running full speed was by far the hardest achievement for me. Tip: Use the clocks when you get them. You reach the next clock sooner if you've used the 1 you have. I think there should be a hard badge for getting all the achievements, but it's too late for the game, and it doesn't even have API to track the achievements.
If you have the problem with the game bugging/crashing late in the 101, then beat it by creating a labyrinth with the only weapon being hot coals (so it goes trigger, hot coal, trigger, hot coal and so on).
In my experience you get a lot further by not using the engine and only steering. Just make sure to level yourself with the ground when you're about to hit it, so when a windmill comes, you will hit that.
Now we know, thanks!
