The reason I open this is to rely on skills, not just luck. Luck, good or bad, has to be here to bring fun and diversity. Card drawing already brings enough randomizing for my tastes. I can even appreciate the entropy element dynamics or other "weird" shields like skull or permafrost, because they have a logic, but, as I said, flipping coins stopped being fun when I was twelve. Maybe you like it. I don't, but I respect that. Maybe other people don't. It's simple as that. What I don't understand is downrating any criticism to the game, but you're free to go anyway. Peace. ;)
Never said dusk is too strong. Neither I said there's no way around it. I don't need need anything like that to prove that flipping coins to calculate the results of actions is simply bad, even for a card game. What makes it even worse is this game's random generator, some serious issues in that department.
It does make the game worse and i honestly don't understand the downrating for the comment. I thought it could be constructive criticism. In my opinion, a card that can bring alone a whole match to rely on pure luck, just makes this game a lot worse. Also i'm coming to think that randomizing has some serious issues with this game.
Really? Are we really complaining about starting hands and RNG yet? In 2015? Do we truly think that developers put so much effort in programming this game so that it could give you "bad hands" in certain matches? Holy cow... This is a card game! This is no Puerto Rico at all! :D
I found stage 9 quite easy too, but sadly the druid needs too much clicking for anybody with lag issues... I'll try it on a different browser, but i still found it very odd.
Let me tell you what the real problem is with this game: lots of fun, but, when you reach the six-digit score, you've seen enough... you've seen it all. It's got to be freakin' renewed and improved!
IMHO what is actually OP is the aether element. Half of the decks i face in arena or pvp is based on the same aether cards. It's just way too easy to build a competitive deck that way. It's becoming quite boring: an average aether deck earns you a lot of money in bronze, silver and gold arena... and on the other hand once you manage to build a deck that can deal with that element, you get lots of easy wins all around. Something must be done to discourage players in building always the same decks. But i can't blame players, 'cause aether has it all... too many powerful cards.
i played for what to me seems to be a very long while... still maybe i have to play longer to understand this part of the game. i'll tell you my thoughts about it later.
i totally respect what you wrote! and i agree that there's more unbalanced cards. still i still think that the counters to dimensional shield are limited to some kind of decks, making the other ones powerless against it. it's probably cause of my style of playing. i keep on having some serious doubts about the soundness of elements, but i admit it is very funny and addicting :)
i honestly don't understand why my opinion should be dumb or underrated by all these players. actually many cards of this game are unbalanced. and by that i mean "unbalanced compared to all the other cards or to the game logic". a card such as dimensional shield implies that if you build your deck to counter it, you get an easy win against it. if you don't, you will lose your game no matter how strong your deck strategy is. and if you biuld a deck to counter it, you will probably lose to all the rest. the quick solution is to use dimensional shield in your deck too, as many many players do: then the whole pvp game becomes flat. my suggestion: resize it! now understand that this is just my opinion after playing for a very long time to elements and after trying a lot of different card games: so, no need to disapprove me... just think about what i said, then think it yor way ;)
