and some things I am just curious about. 1) are the updates going to be included here in the online version 2) what percent are the find rate of the toxic wastes 3) will there be a gene for trees
All updates will be included here, but some features will be missing or harder to make use of in the lite version. Toxic waste and other "treasure" is about 1% to 5% as common, but water bottles are almost the same as in the full game. Trees and any other life forms (viruses?!) will all have their own genetic code and will evolve. Zombs will get an overhaul soon, and you will be able to analyze them too.
to the developer: 1) The only things that I seem to dig up are only empty bottles. 2) some of the species are taller than me, would like to see the animatroids with appendages other than spider legs, like say, amphibious species with crab arms and eyes.
Yeah, the other items are currently very rare in the lite version of the game, I am thinking of changing that. I like the other appendages and eyes ideas - I also have an idea how to tweak things so creatures can evolve into aquatic only.
so, white mushrooms grow on tundras and a few generations later then they now can grow on cement? Wow, will need more cola. And my animatroids are getting very aggressive especially against the zombies. Good doggies. Named one Lucky before giving birth and quickly dies.
Ha! They don't live very long. A planned future feature is to allow naming of anims by crafting a name tag, and when you do, that creature will not die. It becomes a pet. Also I have a plan for leashes and whistles, so you can call your pets and lead them around.
one more thing I noticed, 1) Fast metabolizing animatroids reproduce faster and have more results, and 2) What is the purpose of having an axe? I just used it for spamming attacks on zombies. Two-hit kills
Right, (1) they do reproduce faster but they also need more food which can be a problem on smaller islands. Digging up toxic waste will also speed the simulation along. Dig around and you may uncover some. Digging up stuff is much more likely in the full game though. (2) The axe can be used to chop fungols down without adding them to your inventory. Also, as you found out, axes can be used to catastrophically malfunction the zombitoids. The red axe will do it in one hit. Thanks for the feedback, I need it! Let me know if there is anything you would like to see added to the game. - Markus
The update is already here. On the splash screen for Vilmonic you should see "Version 0.16.04", but sometimes it can take a while for your browser cache to catch up... - Markus
