Could you implement a feature that stops enemies from getting blown so far off screen by air knock backs? At higher levels air makes it so that there are constantly moments where there's nothing to shoot at and makes the waves needlessly long.
The defense drones make grazing needlessly difficult; there's nothing more frustrating than rushing towards an easy bullet just to have it deflected. Especially on those rapid fire patterns. I could've gotten so many lives D':

Swings and roundabouts mate :) The defensive orbs are slightly over powered, they do too good a job, so making grazing harder is the way to balance that. I'm glad you enjoyed it though, thanks for the comment and for playing the game.
Personally I'd like to have an optional set of controls that are less smooth but more reactive. I found myself running into a few bullets I could have dodged but ran into because the ship just turned instead of immediately moving other direction.

It's called a bullet HELL because it's difficult. It's unfortunate to see that this isn't your genre. Anyway, regarding the difficulty, it all comes down to skill. I perfected almost every level the first time I played it, disregarding the laser levels, which were kind of insane.

Very easy game with a tablet, maybe the author forgot to consider people who didn't have one while testing. Personally, I was able to get to level 14 before having to upgrade (free repair) my wall. The turrets are actually gnarly good - I have no idea what people are talking about.
