That's a nice combo, but my favorite is the Dragonfire Shield, with Icicle Spike Boots. That gives quite alot of resistence to both ice and fire. For a weapon, I prefer the Sikuku Sword, statted with strength and luck. I did over 1780 damage with a normal attack that way, while only taking about 50 from Fire Lizards.
