Hmm, the explore feature seems fairly broken, ive been attacked by players 20-30 levels higher than me, and sometimes you can scroll away 4-5k gold just looking for a reasonable opponent. some features in this game i like, for example you get rewarded daily in arena, and can get some pretty decent things from their over time, and you can easily use all your banners in one go. but the equipment crafting seems odd, randomly choosing a percentage every 30 minutes, and not being able to use anything unless you have VIP even if you have the items, for example maps. and im not sure if its just me, but there seems to be very little tactics involved with passing levels. there's no barracks, and the some towers seem weak in comparrison to others. and one thing that bugged me, is the randomness of the pve skills, why would a thundermage use a freeze pve spell? haha, or whay would a cannoneer use thunder magic. just something that bugged me a bit.
Also an expanded customising system (so more character customisation, and maybe even a craft system for weapons) it would be a great idea to add different perks into the game, or elemental traits (i personally love games where you have a wide range customisation, it makes it feel unique and you have freedom to do whatever) an online arena would also be a great idea, alot of games of this style have succeeded in an online competitive environment. anyway thats my two cents, thought id add some sort of feedback, been a while since i enjoyed a game this much on kong, would love to see the ideas further developed.
I really enjoyed the core gameplay as a whole. i enjoyed the arena combat although basic it was fun to mix and combine different abilities to either protect yourself. or kill the enemy quick(if you make another, id suggest more abilities, and a choice to customise the ones you want to use) i loved the mini game training, i enjoyed them all, and was always motivated by the mini missions for each one, it gets a tad bit repetitive after a while, and the mini missions are the same in a sense, slowly increasing difficulty(i think the turbo mode was a great feature) all that aside, i think any major complaint i would find is the length of the game. i love game where the only limit is the players willingness to play. but once you finish the arena, and get a considerable amount on survival the game ends. it would be great to expand this far more in the future, it feels like a game i could keep revisiting for months if it had more content.
It would be nice for an option to organise the artifacts, just to clean up the screen when you go to them, otherwise it looks like a bit of a mess, and irritaiting looking for the right one you want to dismantle or upgrade, and also, when you upgrade an aritfact, it takes you to the demolish screen, which is unneccesary, if i wanted to view it or demolish it should be a seperate option, upgrading should just be a basic click and move on.
Just a heads up, click the reddit option on the right of the screen and scroll through all the posts. it's a whole lot of help and will make this game much more enjoyable if you're struggling.
Just a few points already covered into one comment, yes skills can stack, use all hitstreak skills on the warriors. half and half with archers 5 skill books being hitstreak and multi shot, and the healers are a given. best place to farm is sewers where you get transparent swords (give double exp on kill) when you have 10 of these farm exp on mountains, you'll get it much faster (or continue on sewers, you get much more loot but less exp) as for the raids if you're struggling with the 3rd, I've noticed the yellow warrior does the serious damage once he's dead the rest follow, and need near lvl 100 to complete. when you get soft rest take it straight away, it's basically more exp with more difficult enemies, but farm maps are still very easy, and besides there's nothing new to loot from them once you have done them a few times.
Just wondered if anyone else noticed this, but if you just spam buy tokens and increase damage with them and resource bonus, you can pretty much get everything in a few hours, i'm finally on 79,20 with some crazy damage and res bonuses, and the boss has been alive for quite some time.
oh I also wanted to mention, the red gem if added could purchase legendary items within the game, for either of the characters to increase stats significantly. or if used to upgrade, gives the weapon a special affect, adding a more fun and random element to the game, a reset feature past lvl 1000 could be implemented, to constantly add these rare gems.
oh, and another idea I thought would be a nice one, if you do ever implement an armoury feature into the game, you could spend gold for a basic increase in damage (or maybe even an elemental affect, this would be good if you made the enemies feature different elemental defences) you could spend blue gems on much better items (something that does more damage, or maybe even spend gems to upgrade an already bought item) and I think it would be nice to add an additional currency like a red gem, rewarded for either achievements, or for killing a unique dragon (rewarded only for he first time it has been killed) still thinks it's a good game, but would love to see more diversity in it, I think more of these features would make it much more enjoyable, and maybe not mess too much with your original idea.
well, finally hit lvl 1500, nothing to do now but to go back a load of levels, far gold, and repeat to go to lvl 2000, all this game is at this point, really hope it's updated to change all of that, still enjoyable game for the time spent, think i'll come back in a few weeks see how it's doing.
Would also like to see the popular suggestion of an ''armoury'' something to spend the 100 gems I've been saving. instead on upgrading when gold is the better option.
Thanks a lot for your review. "id suggest more abilities, and a choice to customise the ones you want to use)" => that's exactly what is planned :)
