-The Space key have the same use as Enter.
-To heal when you don't have anymore health pots or heal spells ready, use all your spells (preferably) then use a mana potion and it will regenerate the heal spell.
-I find that the heal spell is not terribly good (even if it always heals you to full) once you get something useful to put in the last slot, as it doesn't recharge fast enough.
-You can use Shadow walk even if you're in front of an enemy, because it will still make you invisible to enemies. Then you can go near an enemy and hit it for a backstab (which does double damage) as long as you are invisible, which is easier if you use Haste or freeze the enemy before going invisible.
-When you use sleep on an enemy, attacking him won't awake him. So you can make an enemy come after you, go away from other enemies until the 1st one is next to you, then make him sleep and buff your (or debuff his) speed or attack or both if needed, then attack him and he won't attack back.
- How to beat Underbelly (hardest boss) : 1- Like all bosses, he can't be hit when he cast a spell. 2-When he move one arm up, look the ground and jump when you see a flame under you, or just jump repeatedly. 3- When he move both his arms up, hit him before he flee then block his boulders with your shield (no matter what side you're facing I think). You can dodge the boulders but I'm not sure you can know where they will fall before they do fall.
- To get the other char (who is a mage) click on the grey box that's on him and write Axis (maybe with a capital A). With this char you can't crit (with your attacks at least) until you get the Precision skill, so don't put points in Shatter if you don't wanna max Focused Mind. But you can crit with spells, but I don't know if you can do it without the Precision skill (I mean just by using the Shatter skill).
This game really deserves a 3.5 or a 4/5 because it's quite innovative and is still rather in-depth even if it combines 2 gameplays, as usually games are a bit bland when they combine gameplays. I love the cuteness of this game and the way it reminds me of very old PC games. Also I think the game isn't too difficult even if it isn't easy overall, but maybe it could use a few more levels in-between the levels already there, though there is replayability because you can try to collect all the orbs and try to beat the timer.
I must say the graphics are really nice, so please don't listen to people saying they aren't, and especially don't change them unless you prefer to. To me, the only things that could use a change are the coin which doesn't fit well with the cute graphics, and maybe the orbs don't fit perfectly either. Also maybe the character could be a bit better but I love how it reminds you of Kirby from Nintendo. And what you call stars are more like snowflakes for your info ;).
Firstly guys, there isn't much randomness at all in the fights, it's only that every monster have its own stats and this makes for a different fight every time or so, which is great :D. Scondly, I really love this game no matter how simple it is, as there's nothing wrong with making a game where there is nearly no gameplay ;). I know it rips-off the graphics of Cursed Dungeon but I don't care, I played both and I love them both ;). Now it does have a title that's somewhat misleading, but the description hints you about what the game is. Also if you look at the tags it hints you more. I think this game completely deserves its 3 out of 5, and that it's there to show people how a simple "Idling" game can still hook you into playing it much. Or maybe it's just there to show what was Cursed Dungeon in its early development stages. Anyway, you should dare playing this game if it can give you some fun.
The badges in this game won't get validated for everyone, but if you report them with the link under the badge description in the chat window and explain that you did what the badge asks to you, Kongregate will give you the badge after a few days of wait.
Best way to beat the last level : 1) have Angels+Dragons+Hobbits+All Arrows+Mana upgrades upgraded to the max; 2) go in level and hold a+s+d+f, then click out of the game and stop holding a+s+d+f so that arrows keep firing until you hit a+s+d+f again (we can say they auto-fire); 3) click in the game and aim arrows near other castle; 4) get your mana up to 9999 for best regeneration, and make hobbits or a dragon if ennemies go past arrows; 5) make angels+dragons+hobbits to conquer castle, but stop firing arrows when your units are near other castle or you will damage them; 6) make more angels+dragons+hobbits to beat the boss and make all your arrows auto-fire again, but always aim a bit farther than the boss so as to kill his minions and gain mana. Also TO BUILD HOBBITS VERY FAST, use a gamepad and configure a button to be used like the 1 key (go on google to find joytokey for this), and have this button on auto-fire (with joytokey or the gamepad) then just hold the button.
LOLOL, just because this game is badge of the day, everyone who isn't good at this kind of game say that this game is bad by saying it has an annoying facebook link, these guys are completely stupid... The facebook link isn't commercial at all, and if you need a solution just go search a walkthrough in google !! Lastly this game is really great, even if it have some weird physics, they are simple if you try to understand them, and the game is really beautiful which is important too. So this game isn't perfect, but no one can say this game sucks because it doesn't !!!!
The controls in this game are very good because there is near to no inertia and the balloon doesn't fall too fast, and that's the first thing to get well on such a kind of game I believe. But other than this the game isn't very interesting, partly because the music is too repetitive and the levels seem very hard starting with level 3. And also it's too bad there is no badge to win or even a high score table.
The ressurect spell doesn't ask you to see where your units died, you only need to click where you see villagers or guards corpses to raise a skeleton army out of them lol ;).
Hey wow I just got the badge for all cities destroyed even if it's a bugged badge. It was while I was doing Zillemore's castle again and again, and I had done the abyss 3 times in a row without being able to save that I finished it. So this badge isn't completely ungettable if you keep playing the game after you did the abyss a few times.
There is a simple way to deselect your units actually ;D : just click on one of the big red buttons named spells or units and you won't have any unit selected anymore.
Like when you want to cast meteor without having your armies moving, you can just click on meteor then on spells just above and then on the target of the meteors.
and I think the hardest hard badge on the site as well lol, or close to because of randomness. Randomness is hard because of times when you have to jump through glass and you don't see where it is at all or not early enough, leading you to jump into the wall (bam lol).
For all those having problems with the two bosses, they are in fact very simple but you have to be very quick to beat them easily. It's also true for the game overall anyway.
So, for the first boss you need to shoot at him in the back, and 3 times. You can do that by waiting in front of him that he jumps, and shoot when he has passed over you.
For the second boss, you need to jump on the two disappearing platforms to shoot at him in the head a little less than 10 times. what's hard is to dodge or shoot all things that are thrown at you, but if you play quickly you'll be able to shoot at the boss's head quite often and end this fight early.
