For those mourning this game in particular, it's available on Steam as well as Android and iOS. Maybe some other places too, I haven't checked.
As for Flash games in general: Ruffle is an open-source flash emulator that's just getting started but has some major sponsors and a large amount of interest in the project. I give it good odds to succeed. BlueMaxima is making Flashpoint, which is collecting everything possible from the web that required a plugin (Flash, Shockwave, Silverlight, etc.) and preserving it. Both of those projects have open and freely accessible code, so it would be obvious if there were viruses (and people who can read code are not at all shy about raising alarms if someone tries to pull something).
People downvote bug reports in comments because there's a button in the game info that says "Game Bug" that emails the dev directly. Unless it's something players need to know to avoid or mitigate, the comments is the wrong place (and even then it still needs to be reported directly). (@gladeshadow)
Once you have something that requires cotton, talk to the farmer. He conveniently just that moment felt like going to the market where they just happened to have some seeds. As for fishing, equip the rod from the inventory and use it via the action key to toss the hook in to water. It will tell you when and how to reel in.
For the part of the last level that no longer matches the walkthroughs, since I'm not about to replay just to get a video of that little bit:
Move the long red straight string 180 degrees so it's situated mostly horizontally below the area you want to reach. Use the lower half of the split yellows to toss the square on to the long red, then make sure the square is down towards the far end. Move the long red up quickly, using the square to break through the horizontal bouncy red string. Keep moving it in the same direction so that the square is moved on to the diagonal bouncy string in the corner and the long red one prevents it from falling off. Use the bouncy one to get it to the goal. Then move the long red back to the roughly horizontal position and repeat for the circle.
Here's the actionscript error for the clear screen issue:
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

You can get an idea of quest difficulty after you've selected a party -- what Jeanne says at the bottom gives you an idea of how likely you'll be to succeed.
To those missing premium gear: Yes, it became part of the new premium-only area. It's not a bug that new games don't have it. See here: http://kupogames.com/2014/02/01/ebf4-update-list/
To undo your moves, click on whichever square you wish to go back to. To change which exit you start on, go back to the exit, then click the new one. Undo works unless you're dead. Also, snakes will not poison you if you're immune to poison. As far as I can tell, that comes from the templar outfit (if not, then it's drinking the red potion at least once without being poisoned -- insufficient data to be sure on that).
This game is just barely interesting enough that I can often convince myself to grind a level rather than go outside to have a cigarette. 3.5/5 as a tool to quit smoking, 2/5 for abuse of IAP as the core of the game. (1/5 is reserved for those who only let you pay or quit.)
To those saying this is like Pet Protector: that's because both are clones of a Japanese series called Princess Maker. (As far as I know Princess Maker 2 is the only one that you can find with the game text in English, the rest are Japanese only.)
The mouse lag is manageable if you let go as soon as you see it lagging. You can click on the end of the line and continue it from there once it's caught up. Past that, decent execution but not nearly as challenging as implied. I'd include some more difficult levels at the end if you really want to intrigue the dedicated puzzle fans.
Thank you very much i fixed it~!
