This was a magnificent game! I found the lack of explicit instructions fitting with the style of game: simple, clever, quick, and intuitive! I can't believe how something so simple had me addicted so deeply and quickly. I really wished there were more levels; hundreds of them would be perfect. Thank you for the quick brain buster, I can't wait for Hook 2!
The d@mn AI in the custom game is WAAYYY cheap and overpowered. When I was playing last man standing, every time I'd spawn, he'd shoot me off the map. His bullet force was x5 stronger than mine, so 2 shots made me fly off the map. This game honestly sucks, because the campaign and custom game had this problem. I died constantly, without even getting a chance to touch the ground in both campaign and custom game.
My opinion on the fixes needed in the game: Firstly, there needs to be a change in the swimming area, whenever you jump onto an island, or iceberg, you jump up in the air. This commonly gets you stuck behind another object. Secondly, in the climbing training area, when you get past 100 in it, the yellow part starts to go out of the bar. Also in the climbing area, the path goes off the screen, and I have gotten randomly stuck on the walls numerous times when there is no blocking part there, the duck just randomly stops. In the level editor, your duck will not move. He only sits there and bounces instead. In all of the races, after flying, your duck will do an immediate speed boost. Finally, in the running mini-game, after getting to skill level of 102, the objects become ridiculous to get over, and when you do get over them, there's another one that will end up hitting you, while you cannot move what so ever. So, if anyone has had these problems with the game, and agree with me, + this!
Great game base.. One problem though, not enough upgrades, the main structure of the game was good, and very enjoyable, but if there were more upgrades, such as recharge rate, the game would be much more fun, reason be, I got to level 18 and there were tons of airplanes and UFO's coming at me, but I ran out of energy within seconds, and everything was upgraded, so I was screwed, trying to give it everything I had, but it wasn't enough. I like the game, and I hope a second one will be out, but for now, I think that there should be many more upgrades, some that I prefer: Recharge Rate Upgrade, Shield, Triple Beam, Up to 3 "Mini" Telsa Cannons, and Defiantly Missiles!
On my other computer I was playing this game (I wasnt on my account to get badges:/ ) and when i was playing i had a 284 combo and i landed but as soon as i hit the ground i blew up! this fuking sucks -5/5
