I think heroes might get OP once you advance in the game.
But being new to it (just under a week of play), I read those comments, try leveling heroes, and see them ultra weak, in the beginning (especially compared to troops)
Hence the disparity of comments : probably due to where we are in global progression.
I don't get it : I arrived to max troop ultra quickly, they're very cheap, and they're wiping the floor with my enemies, no sweat!
On the other hand, I'm leveling my heroes since days, and they can't even begin to match even the weakest boss/region I try to conquer.
So... I just left my heroes on the bench, and go conquered the whole map with troops.
It's counter-intuitive, at start. But we'll get through ;)
love this game ^^
druids, groves, various builds possible, for various kind of play. It's a very interesting take!
There might be some food issue, yes (unless there's a boosting building I don't know after throne room?), but it pushes you to keep playing with magic spells all around (with staff power*2 frog, it's a blast!), so it's not that much of a bad thing.
Keep the great work!
Love the daily enigma!! I always give it a personnal try before googling it or looking at comments. I found some without help, so proud! (little victories, lol)
Little hint for newcomers : collect gems any chance you got.
Use hammer on pumpkins (once you upgrade them)
Priority upgrades, in order (imho) : hidden objets spawns (for bags of spins/gems), auto-collect,, spinner 'time warp', spinner 'hard to get prize', hammer spawns.
Then boost (not in order) hidden spawns/hammer spawns a few times, and auto-collect slot once (for time warps optimization).
'Gem upgrades' aren't quite necessary, as well as other 'tool upgrades', for starters.
After that, count on 'time warps', in spinner, to boost your income, gems, spins, spirits. (other gems/spins results in spinner are quite nice too)
That should prevent you to lose a lot of days like me spending gems in useless stuff.
Lol, really cool game! I finished it without understanding the garden or fridge codes, though. (I did stuff at random and it unlocked quickly).
I had to watch 3 different walkthroughs (showing the codes, but not their logical explanation, alas) and lots of comments to finally understand them!
Clever ;)
