I just want to say, this is extremely convenient to have, nevermind that there's no game, but I can chat without having to worry about some game loading or lagging. Thank you, 2DArray.
A couple things I noticed: 1) Textures were very lacking - I know this is still beta, but your textures will need a massive overhaul. 2)Car components - all pretty much did the same thing. 3)Controls - pretty much non-existent. The only control I had, was over the steering, which somehow affected the engine performance. I don't get it. 4)Music - needs more tracks, specifically racing tracks, I don't want to feel like it's a vacation through the mountains, I need an adrenaline rush. 5)Opponents - didn't seem to get any more difficult. If you are looking for more/better advice, consider uploading this game to Newgrounds(dot)com - the community there will really help you out.
Whoever was hating on this game for not having metal, I have to agree, in that there is no metal, but there is ska? You could have at least put in some Burn7 or Xenogenocide. The ska song doesn't even have guitars playing through the whole song. 5/5 for being an incredible game, and for reviving my absolute favourite series.
Rating: 1 out of 5 (with luck that ratings can't go any lower)
This game needs a ton of work, it can't even be called a full game as it is. I'm not talking about the part where the game is incomplete, either. The biggest flaw, is that the monsters have too many effects, and are way too similar. A slight change in name creates an entirely different creature, with it's own effects. Too many monsters with exactly the same stats/little stat variation throughout the whole game. Not being able to customize my deck is a killer as well. I understand that a partial game was put up here, but if a full game exists, the partial game should be replaced. This is seriously insulting.
The main reason I'm rating so low, is because there, apparently, is a creature in the game that can do (literally) unlimited damage upon being summoned. This by itself breaks the game. Fix it, and maybe, MAYBE I will consider playing again.
Indeed, I also fail to understand that, but maybe the most of players just rather singleplaying at the offline world? Really can't tell... =(
