The graphics are much better than usual for this type of game, or honestly any type of game that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, but most of these games start with a choice of genders at the very least. You could win a lot of us over with a choice between beginning our adventure with a young king or a young queen.
Getting frustrated trying to get dog under crate. There are empty water bottles! Have you ever SEEN a dog with an empty water bottle? This should be easy. And I'm only going the elaborate trap rout because I'm apparently too moral to cut bits off the dead guys in my office and sneak the peanuts to the dog the way you do pills. Ah well. I suppose it's better he not get a taste for human.
The problem is that once you give the dog human flesh, it would never stop eat it.
Soon, the entire Mavropoli's population would be destroyed by a canine creature cursed by an unstoppable hunger.
If you're still stuck, anyway, you can check the walkthrough - the link is in the game description. :)
Love the game, but it's still glitchy. I got stuck (couldn't move in any direction), reloaded, loaded autosave, and now I'm stuck north of Savina. Guards won't let me go over the bridge to get to Savina, and when I try to go around the trees, I get the message that I should stay close to Bavelock and can't move any further (never mind that I'm technically moving TOWARD Bavelock). So now my choices are abandon game (don't want to, the world is really captivating) or restart from the very beginning.
I like the little details like a street busker who will play various pieces of music from the game for you and the window maker who will change the color of the pop-up windows for you. A lot of games allow this kind of customization, but this is the first time I've seen it worked into the game as something you do through interaction with NPCs. Pretty clever.
Second time it's lost my save data. I like the game, but it's not worth the continuing frustration. Anyone have better luck with a browser other than Firefox?
Just got attacked in Duel 51 times by the same person. Perhaps the PVP section could limit the number of beat downs you can administer to a single individual in one day.
@ermabelow: using more than one bag and assigning auto-loot settings will help you keep the useless stuff from the good stuff. I have consumables in one bag, things I want for characters not currently in the party in another, armor sets in another, and everything I'm going to sell in the last. It helps a lot.
A fine example of this genre game. Beautiful artwork and so many levels. From the title, I did expect more dragons, but it's hard to complain when faced with such gorgeous fantasy settings.
