Deeplight, what if someone realizes that and starts with Juju but intercepts rather than using Touch of Doom. Sorry, but after reading this you will probably always hesitate to try and evade Touch of Doom. :)
Randomization is broken. Open palm, with 25% chance tends to stun several times in a row, while with moves like Double Slash, with 95% hit rate, I have experienced missing 3 times in a row.
Best way to beat level 9 is to attack one of their 50 point strongholds immediately and then start spreading around as much as possible. Soon you'll have at least half. Then just keep making forces and moving them to the front while protecting the bubbles you have by shifting around a reserve force. When you have around 300 in a small bubble at the front, take the remaining bubbles one by one, adding to the attack force after each enemy bubble you take over.
For those of you whining about switching, it's part of the strategy of the game. See the intercept button? You can stop people from switching. If there was no switching, people could win based on good cards alone, rather than strategy.
About the new cards, I hear they're releasing another 4 sets of 5 character cards later this year. So it'll be 40 characters + items. Currently we have 5 ninjas, 5 villagers, 5 female warrior people, and 5 undead/vampires.
