I wasn't impressed with the controls but I liked the concept. Still, it seemed kind of a stretch for a botd selection. Rework the controls and this game would be really good.
Ah, what memories of college days this brings back! The bus stop, the endless drugs, the giant dice falling from the skies as vengeful gods tried their best to squash me like a bug. All I need now is an insane girlfriend and a pop quiz!
I don't know... I think Balbanes has a point. I'm not sure basically telling players to go play something else is such a great idea from a marketing standpoint either. "Game OVER. Go play something else!" 6 MONTHS LATER: "Why don't we get any plays anymore?" LOL
I'd like to see a sequel to this game. Maybe 'Master Artist'? Master artists hire junior artists to work for them. The higher their reputation, the more their paintings are worth. They can afford more paints, too!
I don't wonder why anyone would bother making another checker game! It's a classic programming challenge for beginning programmers. It's a fun one too because the algorithm is simple and elegant. I gave this 4 stars. I would have given 5 stars but for the lack of multi player play. Good game though.
