No matter what else is said, you have to give it to the pompous hero, he really can fight well, it's just that he can't do anything else to inspire quite the same awe.
I have to agree, the removal of debt kind of kills it. I can think of a few things.
1. make difficulty. Hard would be the 15%, med would be 10%, and 5% would be easy.
2. Have mysterious customer who will show up randomly when you sell a rare item. This person will give you a quest. that would be a nice addition.
3. After you have done so much, have it that your quest is to save your father, he idiotically got himself captured by a powerful lord and you need to fight your way to him.
you should be able to go back to previous upgrades after you've bought them. I bought 2 avatar upgrades in a row, and know I wondering what the one before the current looked like.
ok, really, please put some explanation as to what the new elements do. I can't figure out they do part of the time. It would be nice just to go "ohhhhh, some random new object, lets see what it does, ok now let's do this with the new object."
Am I on one of my bad luck streaks or are all the level one levels that I'm taking really just that bad. I miss so freaking much that I lose every one.
So, here is what I see not what i'm implying. Fallout: Wasteland theme. Bomberman:Gameplay, job name (it says bomberman in the intro), pickups. Team Fortress 2: That dude really does look like the pyro. Game I can't name: Overhead gun combat. (bomberman you only bombed.)
you know I think there should be a stylized look for fully upgraded units. things such as pixies will wear white and the hair will be let down. the weretigers will have golden armor. I think that would give you a bit more feeling of accomplishment apon max upgrades.
I think you should make an original bullet mode. those yellow rectangles for bullets. also the ability to toggle weather the bullet breaks at the wall or falls in tact.
needs more cowbell. also i feel that there should be a feature that once a high enough score has been reached there should be a bonus. not the quest but after those are all done. i feel that would commend the loyalty or brilliance of a player.
what people don't see is that voice isn't completely on your side. some people call it a helpful voice and they don't realize that halfway through it begins to try to take control. first off by seeing if you will harm yourself for it "jump into the pit of spikes" and then asking for your faith. the voice may be many things but its hard to tell. it says it loves you even though it asks you to hurt yourslef or do thing difficulty even though there is nothing wrong with the easy way out. the makers did a really good job on it.
