People needs to stop complaining about the difficulty and down rating the game, its a GOOD game BECAUSE its hard, AND doable. Honestly none of the bosses are really hard except for enhanced atropos 2.0(without the unlocked last ship) and the boss after atropos 2.0 in boss rush. The latter is a little taste of the difficulty found in the Touhou games, but not nearly as difficult because you get to use a mouse, slow motion, and you don't die in one hit.
For Atropos probably most people have trouble when the orbs are lined up next to you in his last form. To beat this, all you have to do is stand still, and wait for the first wave of bullets to zoom past you, then you dodge the second one, helps if you use focus during this to dodge. Then, make sure you aren't moving after you dodge because he will do the same thing. After you dodge this attack, Atropos is pretty much lost.
@Myrakaru - Focus is not useless.. its required to dodge bullets on bosses (helps a lot when you don't see the path to dodge), especially the secret boss in boss rush.. or any of the bosses in boss rush for that matter. And it is skill, not luck in this game and none of the bosses need to be nerfed
@ Alex200256 - if you equip warp core and beat level 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and boss rush, it gives you unlimited focus
120% warpcore after beating boss rush with warp core equipped gets you a secret code, and the warp core gives you unlimited focus. To beat boss rush you beat the first 5 enhanced versions of bosses, unlock the last ship, then use it to beat the 6th boss...
No idea what the code does...
3-24. Impossible. On hell mode btw. The only thing I can do is spam the 100 mana unit, possibly a dragon or monkeys for support if I have enough tank, and save almost all mana for using lightning x3 to kill off stacks of those ranged units that spawn constantly. Then when I barely kill the building, the boss eats all my units while the still pressure of killing those stacks of ranged units... Simply impossible - unless I farm food production to level 20, or buying tons of unit upgrades which still consists of mindless grinding.
Execute doesnt work properly. Even if enemy is 20% or lower, it does not trigger execute if the main attack is on cooldown. It only triggers execute when main attack is not on cooldown. If there are two enemies when this happens, and execute triggers after main attack, Main attack is not used for a few seconds on the second eneemy after execute is used even when its not on cooldown. It should be immediately.
I am not able to reproduce either of these. Execute works fine for me in the current version. The second item you refer to may just be the delay in attack while the second enemy moves up to the first slot.
Spotted at the casino spending large amounts of cash, my ass. I started with 5 dollars and ended with 50 in one go. More like, the boss and my fans are jealous
is it just me or did spiral knights randomly stop working.. i can run any other flash game on this site, but i get a black screen and not even a "play now" button screen... advice anyone?
Bug: If your wearing a viking helmet, you automatically lose on the second level of climbing training since your hat sticks out of the caves and avalanche kills you every time.
