the only things I would suggest are a wave counter, how many missions you have been on (maybe on the rank screen?) and maybe some health bars on enemy soldiers, awesome game tho, nice job!
other than the whole madagascar thing, one glitch i saw was that when the map is selected and the vaccine message comes up, it is impossible to click out of it...
