Much less daunting once I realized it wasn't a one-shot-kill sort of thing. Love the colors, love the hilarity, love the "how'd I evade THAT?!" factor, 5/5
The game this reminds me of is "95 Action SuperCross Motorbike Simulator", although that's most likely not the one other people are thinking of. Pretty sure the controls are the same though.

Seriously, though, nice try so far. It can't be as good as the original, simply due to the constraints, but more energy + more space to maneuver without sliding off the screen would be nice.
The (seemingly?) high friction-to-inelasticity ratio is part of what's throwing me off, I think. But I'm not aware of any non-relativisitic form of Newtonian mechanics in which gravity cares about how fast an object's going.
Fun game despite all that.
