Flash game developers have to make a living. A lot of good flash game developers either (a: have to work alone, (b: want to make money or (c: need to make a living. Most flash game developers have to make a living without funding and all the like, unless they come from a rich family. Sponsorship and donations can only get you so far. Ergo, many flash game developers have to charge money for bonus features in their games to avoid going bankrupt and then having to look for a new job. Although some developers have rich families and/or are students with scholarships and don't require additional funding, most developers do. It is perfectly reasonable for Urbansquall, or any other programmer for that matter, to charge money for additional features. Otherwise, we would lose a lot of talented flash game makers and/or have access to new games a lot less frequently...although I was a little disappointed at being unable to enjoy the full version of such a great game for free...
If you hate it, then (perhaps) you should say why...and give some constructive feedback instead of writing a three-word sentence in chat-room speak. Of course, I shouldn't really be telling you what to do either...
I don't know if anyone has said this before, but you should make 'Expert' mode and 'Intermediate' mode unlockable instead of being able to play it straight off the bat, because it would then stop people from giving the game unfair marks because 'expert' difficulty is too hard. Perhaps the two harder modes could be unlocked by collecting a certain number of relics or by achieving a given rank...?
The Ortek Head is located in a room above where you get off the platform from the first place a platform moves in a set way. (You know, the first time you see a skeleton). After you get off, the platform will go into the ground and rise up. When it is rising up, jump on it. Once it reaches its maximum height, jump in a up/right direction.
The original Raider is much better than this (albeit being poorly coded and a few glitches)...I wonder what it would be like if Pseudolonewolf took the time to finish it and put it up on Kongregate? Oh well. This game is great anyway.
