The game in its current state is too *Simple*(I mean the game mechanics). The author must have played a heck lot of Metal Slugs I reckon? But I appreciate how optimized the game is. Though there could be hundreds of "HeaVY-maCHine-Gun!" warheads day to day, the game engine has been maintaining the FPS quite effectively. It's good.
I don't like the ending.
You've worked so hard, you beat the boss and get all your turrets destoryed. That's not awarding. Hitting a boss so hard without a proper award is against game design rules.
Well i do see this. But since (according to my observation) the heaviest armor reduces the damage to 1/4 and I'd rather shoot 4 cannon rounds instead: and i can shoot another 4 and blast another armor chopper outta this world before your sniper ever reloads---if you upgrade reload then no more OHKO!
I've been playing offline for some time, and i've beated everything free. And to win normally i suggest you to use CANNONS as your main damaging unit instead of sniper. I don't get the point of sniper: for every upgrade point it get +3 attack, same as cannon. And for the long delay of sniper cannon i'd rather fire a heck more shots of cannon, which has the same +3 attack per upgrade point, is healthier( ^_^ ), and fires often.

for example:
20 20 0
10 3 7
etc.
and 100 50 50 launches more warheads on impact/click than 10 5 5 does. Good for mass destruction. And be sure to get the upgrade asap because all upgrades save potion
