Before anyone says anything about that one song being the Spongebob theme, it's not. The Spongebob theme is based on an old sailor's song called "Blow the Man Down".
Okay, I'll respect your decision to intentionally mispell tanuki, but couldn't you at least make the plurals "tanookies" instead of "tanookys"? There comes a point where purposefully making things more childish stops being cute.
There was a level in Donkey Kong Country Returns that reminded me a LOT of this game, both in visual style and (sort of) music style. Check out World 7-1 (or "Foggy Fumes") on Youtube to see for yourself.
A game that's literally nothing but inventory management...? Well, people are enjoying it, so I guess I can't call it a bad game. I've had enough of this kind of thing for a lifetime though, thanks. Keep on keeping on, Armor Games.
Well, I was about to say my piece on Dave, but it's already the top comment... But, curiously, he actually did turn in a handwriting assignment. So either he exists, or... Wait, I didn't check the date on his assignment. Didn't someone's say "?/?/10"? Maybe there's a hint on the date... Gah, I wish you could redo missions to check.
Hmm... You might want to do something to improve the jerky screen. My guess is that you're trying to get the screen to move one "block" at a time, but Flash is automatically moving it to keep up with the snail... Or something.
People say the debt ruined the game, and then they say the debt removal ruined the game... I'm sure most of both sides don't really know much about designing games, though. The debt system was flawed, that's all. Worth revising, mainly the whole interest aspect of it. It certainly wasn't a good idea to have the interest rates go up when you didn't pay it, causing beginning players to panic in an attempt to reduce it with their early crap, and reducing the challenge the more progress you made. Not to mention having the shop count as a "day", and charging you money for trying to make enough to pay it off.
Please improve the functionality of this game. There are many issues, but one that comes to mind is being able to remove a story from the "My Stories" list. Since the tutorial for Story Mode decided to choose the story for me, and I had no option but to contribute to it, I now have "The Big Cock Part 2" permanently stuck on the list. And giving me updates whenever someone contributes to it. >.<
There should REALLY be an option to edit a previous image in case you made a mistake. I thought it would ask me to put in a word after I drew the image, so my brilliant sketch of "Shakespeare" was submitted as "angel". >.<
