Sorry, but the control on this one really sucks.
Being charged by three or four zombies, and you get nailed every time because the lame weapons won't fire fast enough/hit the frigging target. Sorry, but why is it all the automatic weapons will only fire in a burst, and require time between bursts? That's just crap, tired of getting killed because of flawed weaponry.
2/5
Fun game, but the movement needs some _serious_ work. Telling a unit where to go 5 times, while it gets picked apart because it won't move, really sucks. Also makes things way too much of a PITA in the later levels.
Still enjoyed it, but dayum.
Overall, pretty awesome! :D
A few things I'd like to see:
1: some level of baseline "Magnetism", just so you have _some_ chance of collecting those errant bits.
2: a play-through option once you've completed the game, just because it's always at least a little bit entertaining to do a walkthrough and annihilate a game. :D
3: Jeebus, this one is _really_ processor/card intensive! I had to drop to the "Low" Quality setting to survive it! Granted, this is a photo editing machine, not a gaming machine, but damn! It's a flash game!
Beyond those few things, I am absolutely in love with this one! Great gameplay, entertaining story.
Awesome!
After playing all the way through, this is some BS. No upgrades available? I'm stuck with the same crap planes, with abilities that I don't choose, for the whole game while the enemy aircraft keep getting better and better?
BS.
Anyone else have trouble with the interface hanging up? What I mean is, you click and drag, but game won't drop things, even after you stop holding the mouse button.
First, the visual design was GORGEOUS!
However, the lack of anything like real gameplay was horrible. With the addition of a few real puzzles to work out, this could have been brilliant. Because of this, it feels like a allegory for Christianity, which is REALLY annoying. You want to preach to me? Do it at church. I hate prosthelytizing, especially when it's trying to be clever.
Shove the Jesus lesson, man. Why not design a real, beautiful game and keep your religion to yourself?
Figured out why LVL 17 is such a PITA: designer put the "Walkthrough" link RIGHT WHERE YOU NEED TO POSITION ONE PIECE to pull the level off cleanly.
Nice work, man :P
Other than that one bit of stupidity, Excellent Game! :D
4/5 for Cheater Link Fail
OK, after playing this one again after a long break, I forgot how much FUN this one is! Nice and simple, but highly addictive! :D
So, here's my one gripe: it absolutely sucks that when you trap one of the bouncers so well it can't move, it just reappears out in the open. WTF?
"Hey, you really trapped that one good! Nice work, screw you!"
SRSLY?!
4/5, just don't like that one little thing :D
3/5
Not bad overall, just a couple of areas that bugged me.
1: You pretty much have to upgrade a single stat from the very first level if you want any chance of winning. Kinda sucks, wish I could up more than one stat in a single game and still win.
2: No incentive to fight the tougher enemies, as they all pay out the same? Don't waste your time on the hard ones, just knife em/dodge em and move on.
yeah, sooo at least SOME explanation of this would have been nice...took 5 minutes just to figure out which friggin keys to use to get to the codex/stats/etc.
Ugh.
