*Hasn't even touched the game yet* SWEET JESUS TAPDANCING CHRIST IT'S MADE BY Kupo! This must be full of epic (battle) win! Wheee this is gonna be fun!
While I find the controls to be a tad of a pain, the curser to move and swing gives me trouble from time to time, I really enjoy this game. Personal thoughts: It needs multiplayer capabilities for partnering with other players.... and I'd say it'd be nice to have multiple "powers" at your disposal. Not just one set to (A), but also maybe (S) and (D) as well. With three it be a little more fun, in my personal opinion.
Woo! Getting to 3 Million Feet was fun! Combining paced out Golden Gun with Newgrounds tank (only at 50% power boost), as well as various events... That was great. My best is: 3816695 feet! .... Even tho I was packing like 47 Nukes, I was still praying for more ammo to get that distance up. Made it to the 3 mil marker before I even lost my Chest Pack! Great great fun. Very addicting. Almost as much as Epic Battle Fantasy...
I'm loving the story..... my only problem is I'm stuck on floor.... 19? 20? The floor starting with "What? Don't leave yet! I've got more to say! I really do!" I can't figure out how to get across the chasm with no barriers or anything... Do I jump across my "shadows of a former self"? Can anyone PM me with some assistance if they can? I wanna see the ending m'self!
Obviously, like everyone else, I'm sick of having to wait to upwards of a minute, just to feed my critter something. Second, STAMINA! There needs to be more available and less costly ways to get it! Rather than waiting like 5 (or however long) minutes for you to get ONE WHOLE POINT, or spending the valuable tokens, how about making them 6-pack of energy drinks an actual MONEY AMOUNT! As everyone has been saying, stamina refill (or all status refills) on level up! I like this game but these two factors are rediculously off-putting. My final note: 6 HOURS for an egg to hatch? Really!? Just... REALLY?! I'm sticking around for the badges but not a second more. After that, them critters can rot for all I care.
Officially confused now. Could someone better at this send me a PM explaining how the bloody hell one adds increased effects to the critter's attacks? My wolf has "Fang", how do I get it to do increased damage. The Tutorial guys are vague as all hell... and they explain things too fast.
First tutorial fight of the game, and my poor newblet critter is faced off against a level 6 salamander and is soundly beaten.... yay. >.>' Must train this little wolfie up.
I feel like the Piper leading all these dead mice around. It's fun to gather them all into one big group then just slay em all. So far I've seen it work best in the SW corner of World one.
Another thing I've noticed... I'd like to know what items do what! I scroll over them, but it only tells me weight, how much I can sell it for, it's name, and to double click it. I'd like to know what potions do! I have no qualms with them having names outside the gaming norm (EX: "Antidote" for a poison healer, "antiparalysis" for paralysis healer, etc..) Is there a way to see what a potion does without HAVING TO WASTE IT to find out... I just got this potion of archangel.... and I myself can come up with a few different ideas of what they do!
Alright I've only been playing this for a bit, and I like what I'm seeing... My only complaint is: The button settings are CRAMPING my hands! I don't mind the wasd thing, but the jkil is KILLING my right arm. This game (so far) would be extremely better if maybe you made the "action" buttons the arrow keys, like with PSO online. If you can set it up somehow or make it an option under menu or something.... That'd be super awesome... I'd appreciate thumbing this up so it's seen by the creator....
I agree with poidude! I crave another EBF game! We need another female character tho, in my expert opinion. Poor Natz can only take so much pervertity before she flips and blasts the mouse curser into submission! (It should also be noted that I'm a big EBF fanboy, and the only reason I joined Kongregate was to play EBF3. (originally found these on Armor Games) So I'm kinda biased toward another!) Keep this series alive, dood!
Gods this game is great! Sure I lost all my data after accidentally clicking a link when I meant to scroll... Sure I am stuck between F69-79, with pathetic equipment and little money! But thank heavens for being stuck where a 25th floor marker of free shwag is! I'm slowly starting to regain power again... Still a save function of sorts would be nice. Sure the game is more challenging this way.. but I do kinda like being able to keep my stuff should I accidentally stray from the page.
Boo, I beat the game and the record... I was hoping for those badges... I've been level 4 FOREVER!
Game-based comments, fun, puzzling..... but GOD DAMN FANCY PANTS AND HIS LUIGI TRACTION!
I'm continuing my experimentation with skill/class/race/title combos.. and I think I found another good one. Going off Darnal2's Cursed Golem combo, I'm a tank.. I have good equipment and high stamina, I also have the "Brave" title (+1 armor per 2 foes attacking you), and "Deadly" title (+3/+3 Stamina/Will respectively)! But here's what I've discovered is AWESOME! A poisoning effect, such as swarm, combined with a high Int stat.. makes for VERY VERY quick deaths to many many monsters. Including "orc" warriors and shamans, Skeletons, and pretty much anything except the "lightning orbs" and yellow brand of "sahagin"! I haven't gone many floors down, but I suppose if someone were to make a character with INSANE intellegence and the Swarm spell they could practically NANCE down the floors! Thanks to being a tank golem, I can take a hit (also due to rediculously HIGH stamina)! So I can outlast, and poison/attack normally for REDICULOUS damage! Wheeeeeee math is fun!
I tried Darnal2 and I hafta say I loved the both of them.
However I found at least one (so far) combination that I enjoyed using!
A werewolf necromancer!
It was fun! Give him nothing but Int and Stamina and summon 3 skellies on a single or group of foes, it's great. The best part is that when you fight yourself, you have immense backup, awesome HP, and you heal faster! Shield and Heal help great too lest you need to retreat!
If anyone tries a Vampire Necromancer, speak up, I'm curious to see how it would work.
