To all with issues with elevators. Don't make elevators that run all the way from the ground floor to the top. Limit their height and start a second shaft next to it where it ends. The elevators will then have shorter trip back and forth and get people where they want to go faster. Usually guests only want to travel a few floors unless they're arriving or leaving. Then they just have to hop to a different elevator to go the whole way and don't seem to mind taking two or three to get where they're going as long as they don't wait too long at one of them.
If you want to do any good on a run the gold voucher is a must. Try to always have a stash of gold 300-400 so that if one shows up you can kill the next monster and then grab it. Remember to use any item that you have before you buy it or you'll waste whatever you had.
The mouse lag I was having such a hard time with only seems to be an issue with pistols. The cursor would sit in one spot for a while before updating to my mouses current position. Bought an SMG and problem solved.
