Hmmm... To all that complain about Speed - it does work, though you'll notice it only when there are 1x1 or so, gladiators left: some get two moves in a row, and it's visible.
OK, the key word is TEAMWORK... You won't be able to progress without THREE gladiators... I started winning third city battles almost the moment I bought 2 more level-1 gladiators - AND equipped them with the best WEAPONS, then slowly also equipping them with better armor with time. They first couple battles they worked as decoys, then later actually started dealing pretty decent damage themselves. They actually WON one battle, when my CHAMPION got killed. Oh, and I put those two on AUTO, for faster and more FUN battles. :DDD
The goals definitely need to be clearer - I'm totally confused by all those disembowels and cuts... I looked through other comments, I'm not alone... You should state clearly: "Cut off a leg and an arm" or "Cut off something strong enough for it to fly off". Or something like that. Without a goal counter, I have no way to even remotely guess, whether I am progressing in it... And it's very annoying. :(((
Grinding here is much more for the gear and its options, rather than levels. Actually, you won't be that much stronger through JUST leveling at all. But the gear can make you either invincible or a devastator, depending on your choices. I actually like this side of the game, where you have to use STRATEGY, not just brute force due to playing longer. I went through at least 3 types of gear and playing combos, until I found my current devastator - Anointed Ignus the Lightning thrower, protected by a nearly-invincible Cleric with 90% damage protection. It's not a 100% win, and it never will be, but I definitely enjoy swiping the floor with entire monster parties at once. :DDD
About transferring SAVE data (not PREMIUM, not sure): Start a game; Do a full save; Search AppData for something like "chronic"; finds those OLD from Armor and NEW from Kong; Close the game here; Overwrite Kong with Armor's .sol files. Should work - I played OFF-LINE and it worked! I transferred my off-line save to the off-line swf from Kong, then to the ON-LINE version here. It worked - everything is like I achieved off-line. :D
IMPORTANT!!! NEW INFO ON CUSTOM SPRITES!!! Garin just told me the SECRET - it replaces the ENTIRE picture, not just the body sprite! So, I'm now working on some NICE FULL-SET pictures. If you want to see and/or contribute to such a gallery - PLUS this post, so more people can see it and JOIN. I won't do the females as on now, I'm not so good at drawing almost from scratch, but I will do some enhanced "original" pics. :D
Ahem, so HOW to use CUSTOM sprites??? Cause "this":http://oi45.tinypic.com/25stq43.jpg doesn't work as a custom sprite - gives me "unable to load" ERROR...
Wow, I'm now level 30, with high mana regen skills, so I can beat levels beyond 15 just by myself and the first mace. Which leads to a very nice nearly-endless grinding on the first BOSS 1-12. If you don't get too bored, you can reap any amount of money AND items, by carefully wiping out ONLY the endless minions, without harming the BOSS too much. WOW again. :DDD
IDK, I'd say the REAL problem here is AWFUL CONTROLS (what engine are you even using for this?), the rest depends on preferences, and I really love the game, when NOT STUCK in a wall. And has ANYONE killed the EAL??? Cause it seems impossible due to JERKINESS...
This game is ALL about grinding... While I love it sometimes, TOO much of it gets boring... And I can see that you need 300k gold for the final unit, which means you'll get it after a few dozens of battles at the best, more probably even later. Still, except for Eimazein's suggestions (which I'd love to see too), this game is a good 10/10 gameplay with some 7/10 UI. :D
Very good game with very crappy controls...
Impossible to kill the sea monster cause I waste too much time bouncing off the rocks...
Funny, but I thought of killing the shark before I even got the task.
Also, the KEY here is numbers, not so much sharp teeth. :D
Nice but abruptly ending.
I was expecting a job for Diamonds too.
It requires some grinding at the Gold/Wolfram ore, until you have the best stuff from the shop.
Then it's just "slide through the ground like through butter".
I did the last 2 jobs in about 2 minutes or less, but I was grinding for some 20 minutes to get the shop stuff. :D
Nice game anyways.
Try this, then Save as...

No difference. v1.23 was to fix an Armor-specific bug.
