I think a good idea would be to be able to customize your tower depending on what upgrades you buy, so say if you have 50% fire chance, you tower would turn a purple colour because of the mixed colours, or maybe when you upgrade damage, your tower size increases

A good idea would be able to rotate your buildings for more compact designs, love the game so far, keep up the good work

Best game I have played in a long time. I have some suggestions though. Maybe a reset system, such as the hard reset where you sacrifice your starting resource in exchange for blueprints and also, maybe try to balance darkness as it seems abit too over powered
