WORMIUS51 - Why does moving my blue pieces onto one of the red pieces win? What are the rules? How does the game work?
In the first level, move right, then up. Why do the two grey spheres on the left turn blue? What is the rule?
In that level, if I move left and right, after a while I just lose. Why? How many moves do I get? What are the rules?
In the second level, moving right turns all the grey spheres blue. However, moving up doesn't. What's the difference? What is the rule?
In the third level, sometimes moving kills a red group, sometimes not. Sometimes grey groups turn blue, sometimes not. What are the rules?
My suggestion for the tutorial is to be less cryptic. Explain things using longer sentences. Define terms, like core. Lay out the rules. "When you move a blue group onto a grey group, the entire grey group will turn blue if ..."
This looks like it might be cool. I just can't figure it out yet.
Thank you very much for the feedback. This game has alittle bit of a cyclic feedback issue. People tell me "Tutotrial too long" and then I change and then "Tutorial too short" and so on. After alot of expieramenting I concluded that just saying the 4 rules that this game has does nothing to make people understand. That's why I say "Destroy red" and not "copy your creature such that this pattern which is a red core does not exist on the board". About the grey group and turning blue, you just connect to stuff that's all. Doesn't even matter what color it is. Anyway thanks for your feedback
What is the goal of the game? What are the rules? What moves are valid? How come I can make lots of moves? Why do groups grow? Why do groups split? ... and a lot more. The tutorial needs a TON of work.
Hmm... "The Goal: You play as blue. Destroy red." What moves are valid: "Drag from blue to blue". Is that not like in your face? I changed the tutorial many times before but I really think this is the simplest wording I can think of. Anyway, thanks for trying the game.
I've tried to create an account with a username and password. It has asked me to "insert the code below". I'm giving up after 5 tries. Something is broken.
The values and costs of the "Boxite collector shoots after collection a boxite" are a bit messed up. The values I'm seeing are "BoxiteCollectorShoots_value_5 >> BoxiteColletorShoots_value_6" The recent costs were 2>>3 cost 2, 3>>4 cost 1, 4>>5 cost, and 5>>6 costs14,787,560. (Unless my memory if failing me.)
This game is fun and I want more! I want it to get expanded. Please. It's excellent.
The endgame needs work. I'm on level 293. Nothing interesting has happened in many, many levels. I'm just too powerful. 5 streams of balls, 24 balls per stream, 10.5 damage per ball. It almost doesn't matter where I shoot, I just wipe everything out. At some point, it will get hard/interesting again. However, I think that will take at least another 200 levels, which is 2,000 clicks. Too much. Plus I can afford a scrillion bombs.
Wow ¡What a run! ¿you use an autoclicker? I have some ideas to add more life to the game. I'm glad you like it!!
