Idle games seem to be a popular choice of games to make, unfortunately, the problem with 99% of Idle games that people made is they lack a lot of meat to them. Upgrade a few things, wait, upgrade a few other things, wait. Anti-Idle, an oldie but a well-proven design, shows how Idle Games should be done - put some 'game' into the Idle Game. Here, it's like 12 buttons you can click. Hardly a game at all. Especially considering your first game was basically this, but private mint added and slightly changed economy system. 1/5, please strive a little harder in making games with content in them.
Game breaking bug - when you load a save, the cost to upgrade luck resets back to 2500 base, but keeps any previous upgrades made in the previous save. For example, my luck is 204, and it costs 2500 to upgrade.
In regards to my last comment, this bug seems to work with a good amount of equipment. Some it doesn't seem to work with, but most of the beginner gear it does. Selling any large amount of ore you collect, and then scrap junk equip, it will continue to give you the total payout amount again and again, turning 500 credit purchases into well over 10,000 each in scrap pay.
Game breaking bug - When you scrap the first engine, it pays out the scrap cost and the total amount of payout. I sold my materials for about a thousand, and then the engine, and it paid me what I sold in materials out again when I scrapped the engine. Easily can stack buying engines and selling materials and get millions in profit.
seems to be a bug in the game loading, it sets you back to the level 1 exp needed to level, without actually reseting level. Like, I can be level 8 and when I reload I need 10 exp to go to 9, 100 to 10, etc. then save and exit and be level 15+ and need 10 exp to level more. This could be easily abused to get very high levels.
Yes, 343 is the max level. I'll try to add more locations with an update tonight. And I am surprised at how many people seem to have reached there within 12 hours of the games launch - I did not expect that. My fault for underestimating gamers :)
I'm going to agree with the general flow of most comments and say that the sluice box is sorely unbalanced and quickly makes this one of those 'broken' idle games where waiting for hours/days to make any forward progress. You should consider allowing the purchase of, say, additional sluice boxes or a multiplier to how well the sluice box works, for gold ingots, so they have a purpose.
and to continue my previous comment, on a refresh, my armor is now stuck on Cloth+0 and every time I upgrade it, my high score count increases by 1. Now I look like a hacker.
Enjoy the high stats! =P I'm not going to try to reproduce a lag at a precise time to find out what was going on. The game never really ends anyways, so you can keep enjoying the game with your super stats, for a long long time.
while I was upgrading armor from GOD shield+10, my client lagged a fair bit and when it was done lagging, I was still on GOD shield +10 rather than being sent back to cloth+0 or whichever it is, and as a result my armor high score got confused, not to mention a really awkward increase to my scraps per click/second count.
I think my game broke, around 6,000,000 gold per second, my bonus cases contained the likeness of 5e+21 and now I can upgrade like, everything, insanely high.
Tried to download the game, but it continues to keep freezing at the halfway mark or so. I tried different browsers, clearing cache, but nothing seems to work. Suggestions?
I don't know why, but this game is insanely fun, but on that same notion, it's wearing my patience thin. It feels super disappointing when I have everything just about at max, but my ship still has a typical gradius-style 1-hit KO feel to it, which gets old fast when you have to spend 5+ minutes to get back to that point, to keep trying to learn a method to avoid death there...often to find death 500 more distance up in the form of watching your MotherShip crash and burn. I know I'm not alone on these feelings, look at the score board. Only one or two guys even seems to be coming close to victory, if they have not already. If anything, please allow us to get more help via upgrades, or helping us out with additional info. Nothing too easy or 'hold my hand' styled, but at least to make this game actually beatable.
I don't know if the developer of this game is still about checking things, but please hear this one out - I would love to see two things, as I'm sure everyone else. One: The ability to turn on, even if it's an upgrade, hard figure numbers. I want to see my upgrades work, not feel them out. Even at max level, it doesn't exactly feel like my shield, or my damage, are even coming close to helping me survive. It would be wonderful to see, like, my scout doing 12.8 damage, rather then guess I'm on that field of ability. Two, perhaps, more assortments of upgrades. Things like secondary weapons to fire, rate of fire. As is, I have everything but ally damage maxed (still 50,000 gold to go), but I still am downed in two solid hits from 30,000+ waves...even my mothership dies in three solid blows, which feels entirely too difficult for having almost everything upgraded completely.
Too many foes with "Poison" if you ask me. When battles tend to drag on, that 5% or 10% chance to instant kill can instantly turn the tide of the battle with a few lucky strikes. Makes me feel forced to always use assassins to counter them.
Spoiler - Getting your warp drive up to the max requires 120%, meaning you must beat all bosses, and the boss rush, with your warp drive equipped. The reward - Your warp drive sells for over 20 million RP. Oh, and it also gives you unlimited focus forever, as long as it's in a ship mod. I'd recommend you beat boss rush first with actual ship mods first...you'll see why. That last empty slot in RP shop is a beast.
Thanks this bug is fix now
