For the empty spell slot could we get a faction specific toggle? Angels could trade in 0, 2.5, or 5 points of mana gain for % increase in production, Un-deads could could make assistants focus on money or coins (25% gain/loss per side of toggle or 0 in the middle). Just a way to help make the game a little more customizeable, which appears to be it's best feature.
Just curious if anyone has found out how multiple skill books work? Do they stack where 2 20s =40 or does it apply consecutive where 2 20s = 36 (20 +80*.2) or does it not stack at all (2 20's = 20)? If this has not been decided yet i would recommend the second option to keep the game balanced.
It's all multiplicative, so if you give a raider two Swiftness Skillbooks his movement speed will be originalMovementSpeed + (originalMovementSpeed + (originalMovementSpeed * 0.2))*0.2. As you can guess this gives an exponential curve, but hopefully the (current) limit of 10 skills per raider prevents ridiculous value explosions.
how is this different from build and attack or build and defense? From what i can tell the only change is some minor graphic tweaking. Some of your games seem like they would be good but they have no follow through, nothing to bring me back. I am trying not to assess your games individually but its getting to the point that whenever I see the games 8 I want to stop playing before i start. In order to succeed you need to focus on developing the games 8 brand into something better and the only way you can do that is to spend more time on completing a game instead of just calling it good or making a few tweaks. Most people on this site or great for feedback and if you treat us well we can help you become a better developer.
Great game, I love the character development. if possible I would like to see an infinite mode that isn't a die and start over (possibly multiple quests instead of save the princess only). If added I can see me playing this for months instead of just days (I am the type who wants to max everything and in most games recently that is not an option).
Well if you go beyond level 20 in the chaos tower, you start to maximize a lot of classes :). The standalone version (which is about to be released on steam) is moddable, and for the steam release I planned to make (at last) the documentation about it. Or maybe soon after. An infinite mode isn't hard to do ... :)
I felt that there was more to this game but i couldn't find it. There were several things that made me give up on this game. First I can one hit kill everything in the first area but I get 1 hit killed by most things in the second area (there should be some transition time). Second, you can refresh your tab faster than you can recovery (refreshing brings you to full health). third the material gain rate is not proportional to the difficulty (I did somehow manage to knock one or two monsters off in the second area but all i got was 1 wood or one copper which i can get from the first area from chests). Fourth, I am unsure if I am enchanting my armor or sword correctly or if it even has an impact (does fire armor protect from red monsters? Does water armor take more damage from green monsters? Does a nature sword do more damage against blue monsters? if so how much is it helping?)I am hopeful that the developer can take our comments in stride and update this quickly.
Thanks for comment. We won't update it. In best case we will create second part. However we take into consideration each comment and we will avoid these mistakes in the future games.
Good game. I think that this could be a part of a great game. I would love to see an idle town, where you are the leader and develop the town by adding miners, crafters, loggers, etc.. you could even have the developed areas affect the others near it (such as loggers increase the production of the crafters)
First off, great game. My only recommendation is something that bugs me about a lot of games: why does buying the 50th of a building cost so much more than the first?
I know this has been said but I can't get the "built all types of buildings" or the collected all legendary weapons..." achievements. I have all the others meaning I have completed all arcs, maxed fame defeated all legendary monsters, had 30 of each class had 100 male and 100 female students. Is there something I am missing? I did notice that the sage and medic do not have armors costing 15000 like the other items did i miss these?
