Personally, I think there should be the ability to turn higher-level ore into more lower-level ore? It takes much longer than it should to get all that low-level ore for the high-level upgrades to the forging system, and I'd like it to be much less of a hassle.
I noticed that the goombas in this game are extremely well dressed, and that made me think. Maybe the goombas in this game are ones that were fired from their job at Bowser's of walking slowly left and right, and they were given very generous severance pay when they left, allowing them to deck themselves out?
I really like this game, and I prefer it to the sequel, because here, you're more active, constantly swapping weapons to deal with enemies. In the sequel, they just have pirates and guns.
Argh, this game is absurd! I'm glad I'm just here for the badge of the day. My main problem is collecting items. You run so fast that you almost always bypass everything, and if you try to fall back and stay on the far left side, you be ambushed by zombies coming from there.
Boy, I just wish that the quests had actual names. It reminds me of Kamek's library in Mario Party DS, where, if you land on Kamek's space, Kamek will declare "Get a load of this spell. I call it... Kamek spell no. 8!"
I hope that the third game in this series- and please tell me there will be a third game- will have a new sort of "Power-up" for Jose. I imagine him being able to ride on a Pteranodon that can eat our forces, and fly for a short amount of time, and speaking of flying, the third game should also have flying enemies, like winged Baldies.
Contrary to the flavor text on the badge you get for killing a bunch of Biters, I find that often, I die when a Green Gloople bumps into me, and stuns me juuuuuuust long enough for a meltie to meander over and murder my ass. Ugh!
The game's not too bad, over all. My only problem is that the penguins can be really stupid, and get stuck on walls all too easily. Still, over all, I give it a 7/10. Okay, not great.
It wasn't so bad at the start, but in later levels, the game is completely unplayable. It freezes at least once every 10 seconds, and periodically has the tank get stuck moving in one direction. HI is better than this, dammit! Over all, 0.5/10.
Okay, I didn't want to comment so again so soon, since it makes me look like a self-centered so-and-so, but I am amazed. You GDs had a Reboot reference in the missions. That's one of my favorite animated TV shows! I'm really glad you put it in. Props to you! (P.S. Reboot was an amazing TV show that got cancelled after a climactic season finale for season 4, so there is no seasons 5 or 6, but everyone should still check it out. You can buy some DVDs of it at a great price off of Amazon.)
Okay, I know the missions just got added, but here's my thoughts on them. I would prefer it if you didn't have to send as many crusaders as there are slots for a particular mission, and instead could send as many as you want, up to the limit for the mission. That way, I'll save more crusaders, so I can do more missions. Otherwise, I think the missions are a fantastic idea, and I salute you for adding them, GD (Game developers).
Thank you for the feedback. Glad you're enjoying missions! It is intended that you have to fill all the slots, to affect your strategy on whom you send. :)
Thank you for the suggestion. I will add it to the player suggestion list to consider. :)
