Generally, a good idea. While Boomshine was a beautiful, smooth game, there wasn't a lot to it. The idea of combos is a good one, but the numbers are a little indistinct. It'd be a git for colour-blind people, but I think to have combos based on popping similarly coloured bubbles would be better. You never know, it may even be possible to have different bubbles able to do different things (power ups, in other words)
clever idea; a nice change from the usual swapping items puzzler. Found it too simple, but since these are apparently the training levels, that shouldn't be too surprising, I suppose.
Nice puzzler/quest game, and the Edward Gorey/ Moominland art is great too. I just want to know what that shy critter that appeared every now and then was about - and the sighing face.
I was going to give it 2 stars, but then I read the bit that says it's basically so there's a chatroom going with no real game going on. fair enough. Three it is then.
I reckon it would be nice to have a 'deselect' option for when you've chosen a bonus by mistake. I hate having clicked and then found I've chosen a Joker instead of a bomb
Like acidpunk says - It's a bugger when words get covered by each other. Tell ye what though - it helps with my typing - and as a writer, I need all the help I can get.... just a pity it's American spelling for me.
Here's an idea, why not have a bonus word that forces the current enemies to defect and start fighting for you for the rest of their existences (measured by the length of the words involved) I suggest the bonus word to be 'traitor'
Simple but good game - unlike others, I think there are enough power-ups/hazards, especially as it appears to be a random field of mines at a set speed.
I love this game; once I figured out what patterns to aim for to get the bonuses, it was easy. If you want a hint, go for 4 of each colour and/or 4 of each symbol
