well, if you force players to go your site, a lot of people will adblock everything on your site and are pissed because of the site changes everytime when they just want to play on kong. Consequence? You will pay the additional traffic and players can't keep playing on their favorite site. They will ignore your still great game and you will have less players and less money than before.
I understand that you need to make money out of your game, but please think about other ways of monetarization as of trying to force people to something they don't like. This way never works.
What other way to monetize though? Unfortunately, when I look at other games I see them making the same choice or going to mobile. Donations don't work and a suggestion for kreds got downvoted.
aaaand there goes your 5 star rating back to 1... publishing updates only on your own site and forget your kong community is not a great way to say thanks :D
Sorry you feel that way. We really appreciate the players that are supporting continued development by buying the Artifacts on TimeClickers.com. The purchased artifacts still work on kong, so they can still grind here if they want.
oh, there is a dps bonus on every 100 level of the heros? just noticed it randomly when upgrading heros after level 100... is it explained somewhere, am I just blind? :D
slom0, the number even goes up when doing a hard reset and had earned 0 souls so far. took me quite long to even gain my first soul after hard reset while money to next soul still was going up without gaining souls
Thanks very much! I was at a loss on why it was happening (that's why I added the javascript alert to let people know that localStorage was the issue). I wasn't aware that sometimes it happened on Chrome too (I was only able to reproduce it on IE10, under very rare circumstances). I hope the alert was helpful to allow you to debug the problem!
screen still stays black after loading, I didn't use any registry cleaners or whatsoever, I always play games on kong with chrome, just this game is not working

I'm so sorry, this happens because of a *very strange* set of factors that have to do with you (maybe) having used CCleaner on a Windows PC.
For some reason it messes up your registry, and that messes up your local storage, and the game wont load if it can't persist it's state.
We managed to reproduce the bug on a PC ,and we managed to fix it doing this: http://grekai.wordpress.com/2013/02/24/localstorage-the-system-cannot-find-the-path-specified/
But it is out of our control. Try playing using Opera or Chrome (they seem to be immune to this windows bug)
If you haven't used CCleaner ever, please let us know more about your system specs, so we can try to fix the problem.
