I find a slightly better effect out of the missiles by having an acceleration, I set speed to 0 instead of 10, then did this when moving the missiles:
_x += speed;
speed += 1; // try changing the speed that speed increases for a different effect.
At first the idea of levitating automatically didn't make much sense, but then the idea of selecting the skills you'll need was impressive. The idea of a karma system encouraging you to finish the level however you want was even more so, at 42% I am eager to see how this may create interesting touches in story... great game, 5/5 as I don't see much problem with the lack of interface.
To all those that are wondering, when fighting the creeper, it is possible to get one blaster to safely tame an entire emitter, so you can safely block all in the level and sit there, eternally, but no, you have to fly away, and repeat the process again, and again. Many people have questioned this, but after finishing the full version, I know that the creeper is actually a "degenerated race", the creeper is alive, and it thinks, and learns, so if you sat in one place for a long time, in any real life situation, the creeper would get stronger, and would focus all of it's strength on you, until you practically have a liquid mass of spores on top of creeper to strong to cap with mortars, even if you could make up enough energy to do that. Good luck there.
One thing that left me in silence, the end, you climb the ladder, memories appear either side of you, perfect retro platformer-style symbolism, but then, after that, you sit there, and its over, but its never the end.
