The 3D element isn't bad but I have tp say that I was very disappointed by this game. The aiming system is very poor: you can only aim at pre-set angles which ruins a lot of shots and you can't put spin on the cue ball. The power system isn't any better either and the lack of any computer opponents or online play makes it boring very fast. 1/5.
Awesome game - 5/5. Tips for Dargon if you're struggling: I beat him at level 17 (Not sure if that's good or not) with Tristam Fighter, Kaeli Mage, Phoebe Rogue and Reuben Healer. Make sure you have Attack Up, Magic Up, Haste and Shell on at all times. Slow Dargon and you shouldn't have any problem, just hit him with your strongest attacks, healing as necessary. Hope it helps.
Loved the previous games, but a little disappointed with this one - short, no bosses, and no obvious changes from the previous game. Assuming there'll be another sequel, it would be nice to see a lengthier chapter with new skills or stats, a few bosses and more of a challenge. Still a good game, just needs a little improving.
Tips -
1. An obvious one; if you're struggling to collect the antidotes while keeping alive, just come back later when you have better equipment, it makes the early levels near on impossible to lose.
2. Try to stay relatively close to the left hand side of the screen and take out the zombies behind you primarily, until the swarm ahead gets closer. This makes it a lot easier to collect antidotes and/or food.
3. Choose your weapons carefully; I found that the best combination is a quick firing weapon for large swarms and a powerful one for the stronger enemies or slow waves in the earlier levels. The weapon combos I used are, in order of unlocking: Pistol/Banger, Uzi/Banger, Uzi/Shotgun, Uzi/Sniper Rifle, Chain Gun/Sniper Rifle, Ice Gun, Flame Launcher. I found the game relatively easy with this setup.
Hope this helps anyone that's struggling.
Just as awesome as the first. Though, still has the same problem: a lack of difficulty. Way too easy; more enemies and stronger ones are needed in later levels. Still a great game though... 5/5.
Awesome game. The only downside that I can think of is the lack of difficulty; way too easy really, you can easily split your party up and decimate all enemies down different routes with ease, especially with two turns. Still, even with that, I still give the game a 5/5.
Gets repetitive and boring incredibly fast. Maybe more interesting upgrades would help ease the boredom, or more to do; being able to duck under things, smash objects, shoot stuff, collect items, etc. Blade simply for the badges... 1/5.
Gets repetitive and boring fast. Also left wondering if there's a point when there's no challenge, you can't die or fail a mission and just sit there waiting for a specific bug. Continued playing purely for the badges... 1/5.
Completed in 8days... not great, but I guess it's not bad.
I had e-rockets and stuff, but found that all you need is loads of height and a fairly good band to get to mars.
